In this paper, we give some new characterizations of BMO and Lipschitz spaces associated with the Schrödinger operator $\mathcal{L}$. We extend some previous works of Bongioanni--Harboure--Salinas and Liu--Sheng to the weighted case. The classes of weights considered here are larger than the classical Muckenhoupt classes.

Abstract:Let L 2 = ( - Δ ) 2 + V 2 be the Schrödinger-type operator on R n ( n ≥ 5 ), let H L 2 1 ⁢ ( R n ) be the Hardy space related to L 2 , and let BMO θ ⁢ ( ρ ) be the BMO-type space introduced by Bongioanni, Harboure and Salinas. In this paper, we investigate the boundedness of commutator [ b , T α , β , j ] , which is generated by the Riesz transform T α , β , j = V 2 ⁢ α ⁢ ∇ j ⁡ L 2 - β , j = 1 , 2 , 3 , and b ∈ BMO θ ⁢ ( ρ ) . Here, 0 < α ≤ 1 - j 4 , j 4 < β ≤ 1 , β - α = j 4 , and the nonnegative potential V belongs to both the reverse Hölder class RH s with s ≥ n 2 and the Gaussian class associated with ( - Δ ) 2 . The L p boundedness of [ b , T α , β , j ] is obtained, and it is also shown that [ b , T α , β , j ] is bounded from H L 2 1 ⁢ ( R n ) to weak L 1 ⁢ ( R n ) .

Abstract:Let L=−ΔHn+V be a Schrödinger operator on the Heisenberg group Hn, where ΔHn is the sub-Laplacian and the nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse Hölder class BQ2. Here Q is the homogeneous dimension of Hn. In this article we investigate the dual space of the Hardy-type space HL1(Hn) associated with the Schrödinger operator L, which is a kind of BMO-type space BMOL(Hn) defined by means of a revised sharp function related to the potential V. We give the Fefferman–Stein type decomposition of BMOL-functions with respect to the (adjoint) Riesz transforms R˜jL for L, and characterize BMOL(Hn) in terms of the Carleson measure. We also establish the BMOL-boundedness of some operators, such as the (adjoint) Riesz transforms R˜jL, the Littlewood–Paley function sQL, the Lusin area integral SQL, the Hardy–Littlewood maximal function, and the semigroup maximal function. All results hold for stratified groups as well.

Abstract:In this paper we prove that the variation operators of the truncations of Riesz transforms associated to the Schrödinger operator ℒ:=-Δ +V are bounded from weighted BMO to BLO type spaces. We also prove the boundedness of the variation operator of the heat semigroup generated by -ℒ from weighted Hardy space H^1_ℒ(ω ) to weighted Lebesgue spaces. In all these results we consider a new type of weight class which includes the Muckenhoupt class.

Abstract:Let {phi(alpha)(n)}(n is an element of N) be the Laguerre functions of Hermite type with index alpha. These are eigenfunctions of the Laguerre differential operator L-alpha = 1/2 (-d(2)/dy(2) + y(2) + 1/y(2) (alpha(2) - 1/4)). We define and study a BMO-type space BMOL alpha, which is identified as the dual space of the Hardy-type space associated with La. We characterize BMOL alpha by Carlesson measures related to appropriate square functions. Finally, we prove the boundedness on this space of the fractional integral operator and the Riesz transform related to L-alpha.

Abstract:Let L = -Delta + V be a Schrodinger operator in R(d) and H(L)(1)(R(d)) be the Hardy type space associated to L. We investigate the bilinear operators T(+) and T(-) defined byT(+/-)(f, g)(x) = (T(1)f)(x)(T(2)g)(x) +/- (T(2)f)(x)(T(1)g)(x),where T(1) and T(2) are Calderon-Zygmund operators related to L. Under some general conditions, we prove that either T(+) or T(-) is bounded from L(p)(R(d)) x L(q) (R(d)) to H(L)(1)(R(d)) for 1 < p, q < infinity with 1/p + 1/q = 1. Several examples satisfying these conditions are given. We also give a counterexample for which the classical Hardy space estimate fails.

Abstract:Let $X$ be a metric space with doubling measure, and $L$ be a nonnegative self-adjoint operator on $L^2(X)$ whose heat kernel satisfies the Gaussian upper bound. Let $f$ be in the space $ {\rm BMO}_L(X)$ associated with the operator $L$ and we define its distance from the subspace $L^{\infty}(X)$ under the $ {\rm BMO}_L(X)$ norm as follows: $$ {\rm dist} (f, L^{\infty}):= \inf_{g\in L^{\infty}} \|f -g\|_{{\rm BMO}_L(X)}. $$ In this paper we prove that ${\rm dist} (f, L^{\infty})$ is equivalent to the infimum of the constant $\varepsilon$ in the John-Nirenberg inequality for the space ${\rm BMO}_L(X)$: $$ \sup_B { \mu\big(\{ x\in B: |f(x)-e^{-{r_B^2}L}f(x)|>\lambda\}\big) \over \mu(B)} \leq e^{-\lambda/\varepsilon}\ \ \ \ {\rm for\ large\ } \lambda. $$ This extends the well-known result of Garnett and Jones \cite{GJ1} for the classical ${\rm BMO}$ space (introduced by John and Nirenberg). As an application, we show that a ${\rm BMO}_L(X)$ function with compact support can be decomposed as the summation of an $L^\infty$-function and the integral of the heat kernel (associated with $L$) against a finite Carleson measure on $X\times[0,\infty)$. The key new technique is a geometric construction involving the semigroup $e^{-tL}$. We also resort to several fundamental tools including the stopping time argument and the random dyadic lattice.

Abstract:Let L=-\Delta+V be a Schrödinger operator on R^d, d\geq 3. We assume that V is a nonnegative, compactly supported potential that belongs to L^p(R^d), for some p>d/2. Let K_t be the semigroup generated by -L. We say that an L^1(R^d)-function f belongs to the Hardy space H_L^1 associated with L if sup_{t>0} |K_t f| belongs to L^1(R^d). We prove that f\in H_L^1 if and only if R_j f \in L^1(R^d) for j=1,...,d, where R_j= \frac{d}{dx_j} L^{-1/2} are the Riesz transforms associated with L.

Abstract:Let L=-Δ+V be a Schrödinger operator on Rn,n≥3, where V≢0 is a nonnegative potential belonging to the reverse Hölder class Bn/2. The Hardy type spaces HLp, n/(n+δ) 0, are defined in terms of the maximal function with respect to the semigroup {e-tL}t>0. In this paper, we investigate the bounded properties of some singular integral operators related to L, such as Liγ and ∇L-1/2, on spaces HLp. We give the molecular characterization of HLp, which is used to establish the HLp-boundedness of singular integrals.

Abstract:We provide a study of the Riesz transforms on stratified nilpotent Lie groups, and obtain a certain version of the pointwise lower bound of the Riesz transform kernel. Then we establish the characterisation of the BMO space on stratified nilpotent Lie groups via the boundedness of the commutator of the Riesz transforms and the BMO function. This extends the well-known Coifman, Rochberg, Weiss theorem from Euclidean space to the setting of stratified nilpotent Lie groups. In particular, these results apply to the wellknown example of the Heisenberg group. As an application, we also study the curl operator on the Heisenberg group and stratified nilpotent Lie groups, and establish the div-curl lemma with respect to the Hardy space on stratified nilpotent Lie groups.
