Abstract:In this study, a new methodology for the one-pot synthesis of 4-aryl-1H-1,2,3-triazoles from arylglyoxaldoxime semicarbazone is presented. 4-Aryl-1,2,3-triazoles were obtained in moderate to good yields via sodium dithionite and O2, which are all efficient, safe and inexpensive reagents. This reaction is more suitable for large-scale syntheses than those using hydrazoic acid, sodium azide, or organic azides.

Abstract:A novel and convenient one-step method for the synthesis of 1,3,4,-Triaryl-substituted-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones (3) was developed by cyclization of aromatic isocyanates (1) with 3-arylamino-1-phenylpropan-1-ones (2) under refluxing of toluene. Effects of reaction conditions on the converting ratio and yield were investigated. The method offered several advantages including simple experimental procedure, easily available starting materials and excellent yields (79%similar to 96%).

Abstract:The reactions of α-bromoacetophenones with methylhydrazine in refluxing acetic acid generated 2-methyl-4-aryl-2H-[1,2,3]triazoles in good yields. The method was developed by the reactions of α-bromoacetophenones with phenylhydrazines in the presence of cupric ion, leading to 2,4-diary-2H-[1,2,3]triazoles. The structures were established on the basis of corresponding IR, 1H NMR, and elemental analysis data.

Abstract:A series of novel 1,3,5-triarylpyrazoles were synthesized from flavanones, arylhydrazines, and trimethyl phosphate in an one-pot procedure. Facile reaction process, easy after-reaction workshop, and good yields are the distinct characteristics of the developed protocol. The target compounds were characterized by element analysis, infrared ray (IR), 1H NMR spectra, and electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry. The structure of representative compound (C23H20N2O3, Mr = 372.42) was further confirmed by X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P 21/c, a = 8.9720(5), b = 24.5523(13), c = 8.9687(6) angstrom, = 90.0000, = 102.6417(17), = 90.0000 degrees, V = 1927.76(20) angstrom 3, Z = 4, (MoK) = 0.086, F(000) = 784, Dc = 1.283 g/cm3, the final R = 0.0349 and wR = 0.0844 for 1668 observed reflections (I > 2 sigma(I))

Abstract:In this work, a series of 4-aryl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1 H -1,2,4-triazol-5(4 H )-one derivatives is synthesized through nucleophilic intramolecular cyclization reactions of ethyl 2-(2,2,2-trifluoro-1-(arylimino)ethyl)hydrazine-1-carboxylate intermediates, which are themselves prepared in high yields via reactions of ethyl chloroformate and N -aryl-2,2,2-trifluoroacetimidoyl chloride derivatives. Some of the merits of the reported procedure are an operationally simple and concise method, the ready availability of starting materials, excellent product yields, no formation of harmful by-products and easy purification of the products. Abstract:A new methodology for the Cu-catalyzed synthesis of 1H-1,2,3-triazoles from 1,1-dibromoalkenes and sodium azide is presented. Aryl dibromoolefins were efficiently converted into the corresponding 1,2,3-triazoles. A comprehensive number of functional groups were compatible with this reaction. 1,2,3-Triazoles were obtained in moderate to excellent yields.
