Abstract:An efficient one-pot method is used to prepare a series of 1,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles and double triazoles in water from a variety of Baylis-Hillman acetates, sodium azide and aromatic alkynes using CuCN as catalyst. This method is simple, efficient and base free.

Abstract:We have developed a novel and efficient method for the preparation of 2,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles. These compounds 3a-3p were synthesized in good yield by refluxing alpha-aminoacetophenones and hydrazines in glacial acetic acid. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions and is compatible with various functional groups.

Abstract:A novel and convenient one-step method for the synthesis of 1,3,4,-Triaryl-substituted-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones (3) was developed by cyclization of aromatic isocyanates (1) with 3-arylamino-1-phenylpropan-1-ones (2) under refluxing of toluene. Effects of reaction conditions on the converting ratio and yield were investigated. The method offered several advantages including simple experimental procedure, easily available starting materials and excellent yields (79%similar to 96%).

Abstract:In this study, a new methodology for the one-pot synthesis of 4-aryl-1H-1,2,3-triazoles from arylglyoxaldoxime semicarbazone is presented. 4-Aryl-1,2,3-triazoles were obtained in moderate to good yields via sodium dithionite and O2, which are all efficient, safe and inexpensive reagents. This reaction is more suitable for large-scale syntheses than those using hydrazoic acid, sodium azide, or organic azides.

Abstract:The three-component synthesis of pyridazinones from aldehydes, arylhydrazines and 3-acryloyloxazo-lidin-2-one catalyzed by Cu(OTf)2 has been developed. Abstract:A series of novel 5-amino-7-aryl-7,8-dihydro-[1,2,4] triazolo[4,3-a]-pyrimidine-6-carbonitriles were synthesized by a one-pot reaction of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, malononitrile and aryl aldehydes in the presence of 20 mol% NaOH in ethanol under heating or ultrasonic irradiation. The structures of the target compounds were confirmed by inspection of their 1H- NMR, 13C-NMR, IR and MS spectra. The advantages of this method are short reaction times, good yields, high selectivity and operational simplicity.

Abstract:Abstract A facile and efficient protocol for the synthesis of 4‐substituted‐1 H ‐[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5‐ c ]quinolines through a CuO‐promoted tandem cyclization reaction has been developed. This method allows for the construction of two heterocyclic rings in a one‐pot reaction of readily available ( E )‐3‐(2‐bromoaryl)‐1‐arylprop‐2‐en‐1‐ones and sodium azide without the addition of any additive. Abstract:[1,2,4]-Triazole-[4,3-a]-quinoxaline is an important component of many drugs. The yield of the reported methods for triazole cyclization step was usually as low as 20%. In this article, the triazole cyclization step was successfully done by using microwave method with a high yield of 75% for the first time.

Abstract:A practical method was developed for the convenient synthesis of isoxazole-fused tricyclic quinazoline alkaloids. This procedure accesses diverse isoxazole-fused tricyclic quinazoline alkaloids and their derivatives via intramolecular cycloaddition of methyl azaarenes with tert-butyl nitrite (TBN). In this method, TBN acts as the radical initiator and the source of N–O. Moreover, this protocol forms new C–N, C–C, and C–O bonds via sequence nitration and annulation in a one-pot process with broad substrate scope and functionalization of natural products.

Abstract:AbstractA series of novel 4‐(2‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐3,4‐dihydropyrimidin‐2(1H)‐ones/thiones were prepared by condensing 2‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐4‐formyl‐1,2,3‐triazole with 1,3‐dicarbonyl compound and urea or thiourea using Mg(NO3)2 as an efficient and cheap catalyst.
