Abstract:Let E be a real Banach space and let D be a nonempty closed convex subset of E , let be a continuous weak generalized φ -hemicontractive mapping. The existence theorem of a fixed point of a weak generalized φ -pseudocontractive mapping is obtained. And we also prove that implicit Mann and Ishikawa iterations converge strongly to the unique fixed point of T . Our results extend the corresponding results of Xiang (Nonlinear Anal. 70(6): 2277-2279, 2009). MSC: 47H09, 47J25.

Abstract:A characterization of unconditional convergent series is given for the case of sequentially complete locally convex spaces. From it we show that if E is a barrelled space with continuous dual E', then (E', beta(E', E)) contains no copy of (c(0), parallel to.parallel to(infinity)) if and only if every continuous linear operator T : E --> l(1) is both compact and sequentially compact.

Abstract:In this paper,we consider an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a relatively nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inclusion for an inverse-strongly accretive mapping and m-accretive mapping in a real Banach space.Then we show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of two sets.

Abstract:This paper concerns common fixed points for a finite family of hemicontractions or a finite family of strict pseudocontractions on uniformly convex Banach spaces. By introducing a new iteration process with error term, we obtain sufficient and necessary conditions, as well as sufficient conditions, for the existence of a fixed point. As one will see, we derive these strong convergence theorems in uniformly convex Banach spaces and without any requirement of the compactness on the domain of the mapping. The results given in this paper extend some previous theorems.

Abstract:The relationship between the convergence ball of the Euler iteration in Banach Spaces and its exclusive fixed points on Riemann spheres is investigated. By using an exclusive fixed point of the Euler iteration, the convergence ball is determined accurately for a class of operators whose derivatives satisfy some generalized Lipschitz condition on Banach spaces.

Abstract:A new nonlinear mapping is introduced. The convergence of Ishikawa iterative processes for the class of asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense is studied. Weak convergence theorems are established. A strong convergence theorem is also established without any compact assumption by considering the so-called hybrid projection methods.

Abstract:We investigated two new modified inertial Mann Halpern and inertial Mann viscosity algorithms for solving fixed point problems. Strong convergence theorems under some fewer restricted conditions are established in the framework of infinite dimensional Hilbert spaces. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to support our main results. The algorithms and results presented in this paper can generalize and extend corresponding results previously known in the literature.
