Analysis of Current Developments in the Field of Modern Small Satellites

Abstract:Nowadays,modern small satellites are playing a very important role in both the civilian market and meeting the needs of various maneuverable tasks,especially for the development of military aerospace.In this paper,given the latest international developments,we make make a general overview about the modern small satellites.Also,we summarize the classification and development of the modern small satellites,including models,advantages and disadvantages,and technical features of different stages.In the overall perspective of the satellite design,we also point out some challenges that the future development of the modern small satellites will face,and analyze the necessity of the large and small satellites to coexist and complement with each other.Besides,we summarize the application of the modern small satellites constellation,analyze the technology and application features of formation,stellar and constellations,and finally point out the direction of the future development of modern small satellites.
