Abstract:The Mobile Internet is an integrated product of the traditional internet and mobile communications, and represents one of the most rapidly growing IT fields for the current and a long period of time.However, data show that the global mobile internet is still in its infancy, there exist many problems to be solved and clarified.This paper first outlines the basic concept of the mobile internet, including its definition, features, and architecture.Then, based on the current architecture, we discussed in detail the research status, problems, and solutions of its various components, including mobile terminals, access network, applications and services, as well as security and privacy.Finally, future research and development trends of cloud computing were discussed.

Abstract:Mobile agent technology is a new distributed computation paradigm. With its potential power, the technology aroused a great interest and experienced a rapid development in the last ten years. Various mobile agent systems were made for different targets and were implemented in different means. It is necessary to explore the current mobile agent systems and to summarize the implementation technologies for further research. In this paper a comprehensive explanation of mobile agent systems is given. First the definition and peculiarities of mobile agents and mobile agent systems are stated. Its advantages are enumerated. Then eight representative mobile agent systems are surveyed and the design issues about mobile agent programming language, mobility, communication, fault tolerance and security are discussed. Finally, the deficiencies and the trends of mobile agent technology are pointed out.

Abstract:The last few years has seen a massive growth of applications for smart phone operating systems such as Android, IOS. Short message services (SMS) is one of them. Although SMS as an application has existed for a long time, the method for managing short messages is rather outdated and very inconvenient. The is partially because most of the SMS applications are inherited from old fashioned mobile platforms, in which users of mobile phone usually concentrate on basic phone service and demand less for SMS. With the introduction of smart phone operating system, the old-fashioned method of short messages management is not suitable. To cope with this problem, in this paper we first conduct research on modern ways of short messages management, and then a short message services management system for mobile devices is designed. In this new system, more advanced options, such as messages query by date, by sender and sending a message to many receivers at the same time, for short messages is provided. Moreover, to validate our research and design, we implement the system based on Android platform. And we conduct some experiments with this system and test results shows that our system works quite well. With the mobile Internet becoming increasingly important to life, our research is expected to improve work efficiency greatly.

Abstract:The popularity of the Mobile Database is increasing day by day as people need information even on the move in the fast changing world. This database technology permits employees using mobile devices to connect to their corporate networks, hoard the needed data, work in the disconnected mode and reconnect to the network to synchronize with the corporate database. In this scenario, the data is being moved closer to the applications in order to improve the performance and autonomy. This leads to many interesting problems in mobile database research and Mobile Database has become a fertile land for many researchers. In this paper a survey is presented on data and Transaction management in Mobile Databases from the year 2000 onwards. The survey focuses on the complete study on the various types of Architectures used in Mobile databases and Mobile Transaction Models. It also addresses the data management issues namely Replication and Caching strategies and the transaction management functionalities such as Concurrency Control and Commit protocols, Synchronization, Query Processing, Recovery and Security. An Agent-Based Approach Of Transaction Processing In Mobile Environments

Abstract:Disconnection and consistency is one of the key problems in mobile database systems. Lazy replication provides data operations while mobile computers are disconnected. But this approach either incur non-acceptable numbers of aborted transactions or impose strict restrictions on placement and operation of data, and these drawbacks make it inapplicable. In the paper, an agent-based multi-database mobile transaction model is proposed. The model is suitable to the features of connection instability and resource scarcity in mobile computing environments. By the use of mobile agents, the proposed approach reduces transaction abort rate greatly and saves the reprocessing overhead that arises in lazy replication. Additionally, the agent-based computing paradigm offers other benefits like easy system implementing, support for mobility, and, operation over low bandwidth networks etc. A prototype system of agent-based three-tier mobile transaction processing is presented with the key technologies in the implementation depicted briefly.

Abstract:With the rapid development of mobile phone, the users have been increasing sharply, and the knowledge about mobile phone involves more widely subjects and its quantity is greater and larger. As a consequence, the discriminations of recognition are more obviously among the agents related to mobile phone. The organization mode of the unstructured and non-formal mobile knowledge is seriously hampering the knowledge sharing and human-computer interaction. How to make these knowledge be shared and reused is still a difficult problem what the knowledge engineers and semantic web have been facing, therefore, this paper presents the construction of the MO (Mobile Ontology) which lays a solid foundation of sharable and reusable knowledge. Firstly, the mobile ontology base is created by the Protege4.1, which make the descriptions of the concept, attribute, and instance of the mobile knowledge formally, so as to the mobile knowledge can be machine-readable and reasoning-automated. Finally, this paper shows the knowledge retrieval of mobile ontology base based on SPARQL, which is helpful for the designers, repairers and users of mobile to get the knowledge from ontology base. The experiment indicates that the proposed method improve the efficiency and reliability of the knowledge retrieval, and provide the necessary vocabulary for the semantic web of the mobile domain.

Abstract:With the rapid development of mobile Internet,the applications of mobile devices have penetrated into all aspects of people's work and life.In order to meet the requirements of complex mobile applications for mobile devices,such as battery capacity,computing power storage capacity,security and privacy,mobile cloud computing as a combination of mobile Internet and cloud computing has been in a rapid development in recent years,brought out the new information service and application modes,which has attracted great attentions from both industry and academia.Mobile cloud computing inherits the advantages of cloud computing,such as dynamic deployment,resource scalability,multiple users sharing and multiple services integration.It provides an effective way to empower the resource shortage of mobile devices.However,the inherent problems such as dynamic mobility,limited battery capacity and security threats from unauthorized access and privacy breach introduce many new challenges to the research of mobile cloud computing.Firstly,based on the fundamental research problems in mobile cloud computing,we describe the research progress of this area,mainly including the computation migration technologies,cloudbased location service,energy-saving technologies for mobile device,data security and privacy protection.Then we give an in-depth analysis for the typical applications of mobile cloud computing,such as mobile cloud storage,cloudlet,group intelligence service and mobile cloud gaming,and finally prospect the research trend from the aspects of function enhancement,quality of service assurance,security and availability.

Above all,this paper presents the background of the research, and then presents the architecture of mobile Agent under the environment of mobile computing. At the same time, the definition,principle,application evaluation and the experiment result of this advanced architecture are discussed and analyzed in detail. Finally, the paper shows the effectiveness of this architecture to today's WWW system.

Abstract:In the past decade, the smart phone evolution has accelerated the proliferation of the mobile Internet and spurred a new wave of mobile applications, leading to an unprecedented mobile data volume generated from the mobile devices, content servers, and network operators, which are mainly nonstructured. In this big data era, such nonstructured data fragments are pieced together such that, drastically differing from the traditional practice where services determine and define the data, data is becoming a proactive entity that may drive and even create new services. Compared with the so-termed 5V characteristics of generic big data, namely volume, variety, velocity, veracity, and value, mobile big data is distinct in its unique multidimensional, personalized, multisensory, and real-time features. In this survey, we provide in-depth and comprehensive coverage on the features, sources and applications of mobile big data, as well as the current state-of-the-art, challenges and opportunities for research and development in this field, with an emphasis on the user modeling, infrastructure supporting, data management, and knowledge discovery aspects.

Abstract:Users of mobile computers will soon have online access to a large number of databases via wireless networks. Because of limited bandwidth, wireless communication is more expensive than wire communication. In this paper we present and analyze various static and dynamic data allocation methods. The objective is to optimize the communication cost between a mobile computer and the stationary computer that stores the online database. Analysis is performed in two cost models. One is connection (or time) based, as in cellular telephones, where the user is charged per minute of connection. The other is message based, as in packet radio networks, where the user is charged per message. Our analysis addresses both, the average case and the worst case for determining the best allocation method.
