Abstract:We derive from the super RS algebra the Drinfeld basis of the twisted quantum affine superalgebra $U_q[osp(2|2)^{(2)}]$ by means of the Gauss decomposition technique. We explicitly construct a nonclassical level-one representation of $U_q[osp(2|2)^{(2)}]$ in terms of two $q$-deformed free boson fields.

Abstract:The minimal irreducible representations of $U_q[gl(m|n)]$, i.e. those irreducible representations that are also irreducible under $U_q[osp(m|n)]$ are investigated and shown to be affinizable to give irreducible representations of the twisted quantum affine superalgebra $U_q[gl(m|n)^{(2)}]$. The $U_q[osp(m|n)]$ invariant R-matrices corresponding to the tensor product of any two minimal representations are constructed, thus extending our twisted tensor product graph method to the supersymmetric case. These give new solutions to the spectral-dependent graded Yang-Baxter equation arising from $U_q[gl(m|n)^{(2)}]$, which exhibit novel features not previously seen in the untwisted or non-super cases.

Abstract:We construct the Drinfeld twists (or factorizing F -matrices) of the super-symmetric model associated with quantum superalgebra U q ( gl ( m | n )), and obtain the completely symmetric representations of the creation operators of the model in the F -basis provided by the F -matrix. As an application of our general results, we present the explicit expressions of the Bethe vectors in the F -basis for the U q ( gl (2|1))-model (the quantum t - J model).

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the structure of the quantum affine superalgebra associated with the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{osp}(2m+1|2n)$ for $m\geqslant 1$. The Drinfeld-Jimbo presentation for this algebra, denoted as $U_q[\mathfrak{osp}(2m+1|2n)^{(1)}]$, was originally introduced by H. Yamane. We provide the definition of the Drinfeld presentation $\mathcal{U}_q[\mathfrak{osp}(2m+1|2n)^{(1)}]$. To establish the isomorphism between the Drinfeld-Jimbo presentation and the Drinfeld presentation of the quantum affine superalgebra for type $\mathfrak{osp}(2m+1|2n)$, we introduce a braid group action to define quantum root vectors of quantum superalgebras. Specifically, we present an efficient method for verifying the isomorphism between two presentations of the quantum affine superalgebra associated with the type $\mathfrak{osp}(2m+1|2n)$.

Abstract:We describe the twisted affine superalgebra $sl(2|2)^{(2)}$ and its quantized version $U_q[sl(2|2)^{(2)}]$. We investigate the tensor product representation of the 4-dimensional grade star representation for the fixed point subsuperalgebra $U_q[osp(2|2)]$. We work out the tensor product decomposition explicitly and find the decomposition is not completely reducible. Associated with this 4-dimensional grade star representation we derive two $U_q[osp(2|2)]$ invariant R-matrices: one of them corresponds to $U_q[sl(2|2)^{(2)}]$ and the other to $U_q[osp(2|2)^{(1)}]$. Using the R-matrix for $U_q[sl(2|2)^{(2)}]$, we construct a new $U_q[osp(2|2)]$ invariant strongly correlated electronic model, which is integrable in one dimension. Interestingly, this model reduces, in the $q=1$ limit, to the one proposed by Essler et al which has a larger, $sl(2|2)$, symmetry.

Abstract:We further define two-parameter quantum affine algebra U_r,s(𝔰𝔩_n) ( n > 2) after the work on the finite cases (see [BW1,BGH1,HS,BH]), which turns out to be a Drinfel’d double. Of importance for the quantum affine cases is that we can work out the compatible two-parameter version of the Drinfel’d realization as a quantum affinization of U_r,s(𝔰𝔩_n) and establish the Drinfel’d Isomorphism Theorem in the two-parameter setting, via developing a new combinatorial approach (quantum calculation) to the quantum affine Lyndon basis we present (with an explicit valid algorithm based on the use of Drinfel’d generators).

Abstract:We formulate a family of algebras, twisted Yangians (of split type) in current generators and relations, via a degeneration of the Drinfeld presentation of affine $\imath$quantum groups (associated with split Satake diagrams). These new algebras admit PBW type bases and are shown to be a deformation of twisted current algebras; presentations for twisted current algebras are also provided. For type AI, it matches with the Drinfeld presentation of twisted Yangian obtained via Gauss decomposition. We conjecture that our split twisted Yangians are isomorphic to the corresponding ones in RTT presentation.

Abstract:In the current paper, we extend our prior research [X. Wu, H. Lin and H. Zhang, Braid group action and quantum affine superalgebra for type $\mathfrak{osp}(2m+1|2n)$. Preprint, (2024)], which introduced the Drinfeld presentation of the quantum affine superalgebra associated with the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{osp}$ $(2m+1|2n)$ for $m>0$. Based on this work, our present investigation focuses on its R-matrix presentation. Moreover, we establish an explicit isomorphism between the R-matrix presentation and the Drinfeld presentation. In particular, our contribution extends the investigations of Jing, Liu, and Molev concerning quantum affine algebra in type BCD to the domain of supersymmetry [<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1903.00204" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1903.00204">arXiv:1903.00204</a>; <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1911.03496" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1911.03496">arXiv:1911.03496</a>].

Abstract:Given a Hopf algebra H and a counital 2-cocycle μ on H , Drinfeld introduced a notion of twist which deforms an H -module algebra A into a new algebra Aμ . We show that when A is a quadratic algebra, and H acts on A by degree-preserving endomorphisms, then the twist Aμ is also quadratic. Furthermore, if A is a Koszul algebra, then Aμ is a Koszul algebra. As an application, we prove that the twist of the q -quantum plane by the quasitriangular structure of the quantum enveloping algebra Uq(sl2) is a quadratic algebra equal to the q−1 -quantum plane.

Abstract:We use the Hecke algebras of affine symmetric groups and their associated Schur algebras to construct a new algebra through a basis, and a set of generators and explicit multiplication formulas of basis elements by generators. We prove that this algebra is isomorphic to the quantum enveloping algebra of the loop algebra of $\mathfrak {gl}_n$. Though this construction is motivated by the work \cite{BLM} by Beilinson--Lusztig--MacPherson for quantum $\frak{gl}_n$, our approach is purely algebraic and combinatorial, independent of the geometric method which seems to work only for quantum $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ and quantum affine $\mathfrak{sl}_n$. As an application, we discover a presentation of the Ringel--Hall algebra of a cyclic quiver by semisimple generators and their multiplications by the defining basis elements.
