Abstract:Chinese path to modernization is a modernization that combines the Chinese characteristics and the commonality of modernizations in different countries. Chinese path to modernization, based on the overall trend of the development of world history, is a compound and dialectical modernization, providing a modernization practice plan advancing in development and fully reflecting the characteristics of socialism. In terms of choosing the road to development, it has completed the perfect combination of the basic principles of scientific socialism with China’s reality. In terms of choosing the social system, it has adhered to and consolidated the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. At the level of development goals, it adheres to the goal of leading human civilization and moving towards communism. In general, Chinese path to modernization is a truly people-centered socialist modernization path, i.e., following the people-centered principle throughout the whole process of modernization. It fully demonstrates the dominant position of the Chinese people, the nature of the social relationship, the value of existence and the prospects for development. As a Chinese plan to explore modernization, Chinese path to modernization is the fusion of the true understanding of the social and historical law and the innovative practice, the combination of mission thinking and the tasks of the times, the unity of the stage goal and the overall prospect, and the convergence of truth-seeking and value manifestation. In the interaction between theory and practice, Chinese path to modernization will definitely contribute to the construction of a new form of human civilization with more majestic positive power.

Abstract:Modernization is the process of transformation and development from traditional agricultural society to modern industrial society and information society. A necessary path and inevitable choice for human society in its development to an advanced stage, modernization represents the direction of progress and driving force of development for human civilization. At once a reflection and critique, a dialectical sublation, and an overall transcendence of traditional society, modernization is led by an advanced class that embodies the contemporary spirit. For its promotion, modernization relies principally on the three levers of science and technology, capital, and the market, and as its goal, it posits the realization of industrialization, urbanization, and informatization. Led by the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Chinese path to modernization is socialist in its essence, and possesses not only the common properties of modernization, but also Chinese characteristics based on China's particular national conditions. Specifically, this path embodies the people-centered concept of modernization, is committed to achieving all-round human development and social progress, surpasses the object-centered model of Western modernization guided by the logic of capital, and provides a new choice and development direction for humanity in achieving modernization.

Abstract:The Chinese path to modernization shares characteristics with modernization in all countries,but it also has the characteristics based on its own national conditions. Common prosperity is an important feature and essential requirement of the Chinese path to modernization. This journal presents a series of written discussions on the major issues in this area such as the universality of common prosperity,the Chinese path to modernization,and the provincial first exploration of practice pathways. The fundamental pathway for human modernization is to improve the allocation of rights and opportunities to achieve the general equality of capabilities. Abstract:The Chinese Path to Modernization includes two interrelated issues: one is how to make China gradually become an economically modernized country from a developing country, and make China enter the ranks of developed countries; the second is how to continuously adhere to and improve the national system, achieve system modernization, and fully leverage the superiority of the socialist system. From the basic logic of these two aspects, the Chinese Path to Modernization is consistent with the universal law of world modernization. Abstract:: "Chinese-style Modernization" has gone through the evolution from "modernization" to "four modernizations" and then to "Chinese-style modernization". After the "modernization" originated from the West was introduced into China, the Communist Party of China took the construction of a "modern" socialist country in China as its goal. After the founding of New China, "modernization" has been transformed into more specific "four modernizations" of "modern industry, modern agriculture, modern science and technology and modern national defense". After the reform and opening up, the "four modernizations" were gradually replaced by the "Chinese-style modernization", and a complete theoretical system was formed at the 20th National Congress of the Party. "Chinese-style modernization" has become the product of "integrating the basic principles of Marxism into the concrete reality of China and into the excellent traditional Chinese culture", which is the latest achievement of the Sinicization and modernization of Marxist modernization theory and opens up a new form of human civilization." Abstract:The earliest form of modernization was capitalization, which Marx and Engels explained as occurring "on pain of extinction." As the inherent contradictions of capitalism intensified, modernization showed a tendency to evolve in the direction of socialization, and two different and opposing models emerged: the Western European capitalist model and the Soviet socialist model. The modernization of the old China was destined to fail even while it was still on the starting line. It was not until the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, overcame the Chiang Kai-shek regime, achieved victory in the New Democratic Revolution, and established the People's Republic of China that the country's progress along the road of Chinese modernization really began. For historical reasons, the new China was obliged to develop a novel approach to its modernization process. Reform and opening up enabled China to seize a new opportunity, and Chinese modernization began to accelerate. After socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era, modernization began to take flight. Chinese modernization provides humanity with a new choice as it confronts the modernization challenge. Although Chinese modernization reflects China's specific national conditions and historical opportunities, it nevertheless has a definite world-historical significance.

Abstract:The new path of Chinese path to modernization is fundamentally different from the development model of western modernization. The latter is rooted in aggression, exploitation and oppression. The capitalist system established through modernization is also not the "end of history". Chinese path to modernization is from passive to active, from backwardness to catch up gradually. In the deepening and evolution of the theme of Marxist theory, it has realized the curve overtaking of the western modernization model. The Chinese model provides an example of development that late-developing countries can follow. However, the Chinese model is short and a transitional development model, which will eventually change its value-neutral characteristics through a series of value additions of economic growth, legal reform, democratization and constitutionalism.
