Developing Fruit and Veg Etable Processing Industry to Promote Agricultural Economy in Hainan

Abstract:Investigations were made on the domestic fruit and vegetable market and the fruit and veg etable production situation in Hainan.The results showed that the domestic fruit and vegetable market was becoming almost saturated.The fruit and vegetable products from Hainan were mostly crude.Marketing of them was re strained by transportation,and depended extraordinarily on sea son dif ference.Countermeasures against these problems were put forward that fruit and veg etable processing industry should be developed so as to promote the develop ment of fruit and vegetable industry in Hainan.
