Present situation and suggestion on preliminary processing of agricultural products in China

Abstract:Based on the research of agriculture and food production in China,the urgent problems of the preliminary processing of agricultural products were pointed out: such as distribution,cleaning,drying,preservation,storage,transportation of agricultural products and marketing information etc.The preliminary processing of agricultural products is a system engineering.Learning experiences from the other countries,specific recommendations were given: it needed long-term stability government-funded.Through the support of government,mechanical equipment,storage facilities were completed by research institutions and enterprises.Modernization of the agricultural business as a carrier,efforts should be made to train farmers operators,organize agricultural cooperatives,create agricultural products processing industry clusters,focusing on the origin conditions and products advantage,establish local standards,facing market needs,based on independent business and innovation,create local brand.It points direction for the preliminary processing of agricultural products in China.
