Abstract:For any positive integer n,n=pα11pα22…pαrr decomposes n into prime powers.The F.Smarandache S(n) is defined as the smallest integer m such that nm!.That is S(n)=min{m:nm!,m∈N}.The prime factor sum function is defined as:ω(n)=p1+p2+…+pk,The main purpose of this paper is using the elementary and analytic methods to study the hybrid mean value problem involving the F.Smarandache function S(n)and the prime factor sum function ω(n).The mean value properties of this new hybrid function S(n)ω(n) are obatained and the paper gives a sharper asymptotic formula for it.

Abstract:In this paper we obtain a mean value theorem for a general Dirichlet series $f(s)= \sum_{j=1}^\infty a_j n_j^{-s}$ with positive coefficients for which the counting function $A(x) = \sum_{n_{j}\le x}a_{j}$ satisfies $A(x)=\rho x + O(x^\beta)$ for some $\rho>0$ and $\beta<1$. We prove that $\frac1T\int_0^T |f(\sigma+it)|^2\, dt \to \sum_{j=1}^\infty a_j^2n_j^{-2\sigma}$ for $\sigma>\frac{1+\beta}{2}$ and obtain an upper bound for this moment for $\beta<\sigma\le \frac{1+\beta}{2}$. We provide a number of examples indicating the sharpness of our results.

Abstract:Let q ⩾ 3 be an integer, let χ denote a Dirichlet character modulo q . For any real number a ⩾ 0 we define the generalized Dirichlet L-functions L(s,χ ,a) = ∑_n = 1^∞χ (n)/(n + a)^s , where s = σ + it with σ > 1 and t both real. They can be extended to all s by analytic continuation. In this paper we study the mean value properties of the generalized Dirichlet L -functions especially for s = 1 and s = 1/2 + i t , and obtain two sharp asymptotic formulas by using the analytic method and the theory of van der Corput.

Two applications are given to short-interval results for primes and for Goldbach numbers. Abstract:In this paper we follow a paper from A. Sedunova (2017) regarding R. C. Vaughan's basic mean value Theorem (Acta Arith. 1980) to improve and complete a more general demonstration for a suitable class of arithmetic functions as started by A. C. Cojocaru and M. R. Murty (London Math. Soc. Stud. Texts 2006). As an application we derive a basic mean value Theorem for the von Mangoldt generalized functions.

Abstract:This paper gives an explicit version of Selberg's 1943 mean-value estimate for the prime number theorem in intervals under the Riemann hypothesis. Two applications are given: for primes in short intervals, and Goldbach numbers (sums of two primes) in short intervals. Under the Riemann hypothesis, we show there exists a prime in $(y,y+32277\log^2 y]$ for at least half the $y\in[x,2x]$ for all $x\geq 2$, and at least one Goldbach number in $(x,x+9696 \log^2 x]$ for all $x\geq 2$.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the mean value distributions of Dirichlet L-functions at positive integers. We give some explicit formulas for the mean values of products of two and three Dirichlet L-functions at positive integers weighted by Dirichlet characters that involve the Bernoulli functions and Jordan's totient functions. The results presented here are the generalizations of various known formulas.

Abstract:We present closed forms for several functions that are fundamental in number theory and we explain the method used to obtain them. Concretely, we find formulas for the p-adic valuation, the number-of-divisors function, the sum-of-divisors function, Euler's totient function, the modular inverse, the integer part of the root, the integer part of the logarithm, the multiplicative order and the discrete logarithm. Although these are very complicated, they only involve elementary operations, and to our knowledge no other closed form of this kind is known for the aforementioned functions.
