Abstract:Communication ability is one of the core requirements of doctors' competency. Teaching communication to medical students and junior doctors has attracted much attention. With the challenge of escalating demands, the status of training communication skills has been promoted in the past several decades. The training content was integrated with other courses and various pedagogic approaches have been applied and proved to be effective. Practical strategies and mixed types were highly recommended. However, there are still many problems, including the fragmentation of the training, insufficient practice, inadequate qualified teachers, case adaptation, course localization and impediment from the environment. This paper proposes some suggestions to solve the problems.

Abstract:Objective To understand the situation about training organizations of health management consultants in Beijing,the development and weakness of this industry,configuration of students,settings of courses and teaching material and related policy.Methods Combining questionnaire survey and interviews,the study was conducted among 183 students,some managers and teachers in 7 health management training institutions in Beijing.Results The conformation of students' education was 5% with high school students,46% with associate bachelor,26% with bachelor,and 13% with master and above.The conformation of students' age over 30 years was 75%.The conformation of students' occupation was 82% health workers.The differences about students' age,education,and occupation was significant.In addition.43.9% of students thought that the course was too hard or considerably hard.Conclusion The textbook still seemed difficult in both understanding and application,so the further revision is needed.On this basis,suggestions are brought forward objectively and systemically from organizations' operating status,serving system and the current development of health management consultant training industry.

Abstract:Objective To analyze current situation and problems of health manager training in the pilot training areas. Method With the recommendations of health administration deputies in the plot areas of Shanghai, Chongqing and Urumqi, 2 centers for community health services (CHSs) were selected in each area, 9 relative persons were interviewed, 3 focus group discussions (FGDs) involved 18 persons were held totally. The FGDs focused on such questions as“the general information of the training students”“the objectives and purposes of the training in each area”, and so on. Field investigation and qualitative analysis were used to investigate the status quo and main problems of the training of health manager in the pilot areas. Result The problems of the training of health manager existing in the pilot areas mainly are:part of teachers were not fully competent to the training of health manager, training of operant skill was insufficient, training course was not unified, the assessment mechanism was not perfect. Conclusion Optimizing the construction of teachers team, standardizing the training content, increasing the time of operating skills training, establishing a unified and standardized assessment mechanism are essential.

Abstract:Objective To explore the degree of adaptation and the problems occurred to the 8-year medical education program interns on whole course management, as well as the solving strategies for the problems. Methods 29 interns were collected randomly in 63 8-year medical education program interns on whole course management in questionnaire survey as well as analysis of personal understanding of 21 interns about whole course management. Results 100. 0% of the investigated interns could basically finish whole course management,52.4% of the interns could really achieve the meaning of whole course management.Compared with traditional internship model, 62. 1% of the investigated interns considered whole course management could improve their communication with patients. 69.0% of the interns considered the whole course management improved their medical thesis writing skills. 90.4% of the interns agreed with the idea of whole course management, while 71.4% of the interns believed that the detailed implementation in practice should be improved and 47.6% of the interns indicated to strengthen the guidance of teachers. Conclusions Whole course management for interns is of feasibility. Concerning existing problems,more attention should be paid to the detailed implementation in practice.

This paper analyzes the current situation of the training and development of health management personnel at home and abroad, and points out the shortcomings of the current training of construction management professionals. Abstract:Medical education is a vital factor for people to accept good health services. Clinical education plays an impor-tant role in the whole process of medical education, while youth clinical teacher is the backbone in the development of medical education. However, because the shortage of clinical education management system, weak awareness of teaching, and lack basic skills of teaching etc, the improvement of clinical education is restricted in non-affiliated hospitals. Abstract:In the face of high-quality development requirements and changes in population structure, China's demand for highly skilled personnel is stronger. The professional setting of some vocational education is disjointed with the social needs, among which, the business English major in higher vocational colleges has prominent problems, the professional structure is not reasonable, and the adaptability is not strong, which restricts the economic and social development. This paper takes the business English major of Guangzhou Huanan Business College as an example, analyzes its current development situation and dilemma, and puts forward several strategies to enhance the adaptability of higher vocational education majors. This paper mainly adopts literature research, investigation method, case study, etc. By clarifying the orientation of “business trade plus English” majors, exploring the “three+two-stages” joint training mode, giving full play to the role of enterprise subjects as well as the dual subjects of schools and enterprises jointly educated people, actively expanding the cross-disciplinary advantages, creating major highlights, constructing the “four-double” foreign language business trade plus 321 talent mode, it constantly improves the adaptability of business English majors in higher vocational colleges, making the business English major better.

Abstract:Background: Career adaptability significantly affects college students' career happiness in the future, and it is essential to make a detailed evaluation of its correlation for making a targeted intervention plan. However, the applicability of occupational adaptability to secondary vocational nursing students is still an unexplored field in academic research. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the current situation of career adaptability and its influencing factors on secondary vocational nursing students in medical schools. Methods: A total of 1,414 secondary vocational nursing students from three secondary colleges and universities in Southwest China from July 2022 to September 2022 were selected for the survey. A questionnaire was used to assess secondary vocational nursing students' sociodemographic, Career Adaptability, Psychological Control Sources, and the Meaning in Life. Statistical analyses were performed using Pearson's correlation analysis, t-test, analysis of variance and multiple. Results: Secondary vocational nursing students scored (51.03 ± 9.64) for the meaning in life, (81.46 ± 25.39) for psychological control sources, and (94.12 ± 15.55) for career adaptability. Career resilience was significantly and positively correlated with the opportunity and internal control factors of psychological control sources (r = 0.091, -0.488, p < 0.01); and career adaptability was significantly and positively correlated with the sense of seeking meaning and possessing meaning factors of sense of meaning in life (r = 0.725, 0.734, p < 0.01); Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that academic performance, mother's educational level, search for meaning, sense of meaningfulness, opportunities, and internal control entered the regression equation (p < 0.05), explaining 64% of the total variance. Conclusion: The overall career adaptability of secondary vocational nursing students is at a moderately high level, with significant individual differences closely correlated with locus of control, meaning in life, and career adaptability. Nursing educators can provide targeted intervention measures based on influencing factors to promote the development of secondary vocational nursing students' career adaptability, enabling them to better adapt to future clinical work.

Key Problems in Sustainable Development of Training of General Practitioners in Shanghai

Abstract:Objective To identify the key problems in the training of general practitioners in Shanghai,and to offer practical advice on the establishment of a standardized training system and the making of relevant policies.MethodsQuestionnaire survey was conducted in 1 300 general practitioners from 3 districts of Shanghai and 400 medical students from 2 universities in Shanghai on the conditions of training of general practitioners,which concerns with the demographic information,career goal,understanding of family doctor system and satisfaction level in practice.Results An analysis of the basic information revealed a shortage of of academic degree and professional title in general practitioners of Shanghai,as measured by international standards and China's national requirements.The evaluation from medical students on the profession of general practition was relatively lower,with the majority(78.6%) aiming to become specialists.Only 4.6% of medical students would take general practition as preferred career.There was a low satisfaction level in both social environment and personal development among general practitioners in practice,and 15.2% of them were dissatisfied with comprehensive situation.Conclusion There are some critical problems in the training of general practitioners in Shanghai.More image building effort,more standardized training system and more systemized curricula may help to ensure a sustainable development of training of general practitioners.
