Abstract:The high-speed railway is new in China. Its safety is of great importance. In order to ensure its safety, the safety of infrastructure is of first importance. More important is to improve the safeguard by applying information technology and set up the information safeguard system. According to characteristics of high-speed railway and the theory of the safety system engineering, and referring to man-machine-environment system, the information safeguard system of the high-speed railway is established. Functions and component of each subsystem are introduced. Referring to the agent technology in artificial intelligence, the multi-agent system designed for information safeguard system of high-speed railway is proposed, which consists of the monitoring agent, judgment agent, diagnosis agent, processing agent, evaluation agent and management agent.

Abstract:In view of the safety problems of railway crossings,the railway crossings safety management control system is developed based on GIS through the internet,by using the system engineering theory,remote control theory and computer network technology,in order to precisely collect the information of railway crossings for management and rescue in time,and to centralize the management and control of the dispersive railway crossings.The paper designs the system object,functional module and introduces the development methods.Practice shows that the safety management level of railway crossings has been increased and the informationzation and automation of railway crossing management and control is realized used the system.

Abstract:The Intelligent Sensor Information System (ISIS) isdescribed. ISIS is an active CCTV approach to reducingcrime and anti-social behavior on public transportsystems such as buses. Key to the system is the idea ofevent composition, in which directly detected atomicevents are combined to infer higher-level events withsemantic meaning. Video analytics are described thatprofile the gender of passengers and track them as theymove about a 3-D space. The overall system architectureis described which integrates the on-board eventrecognition with the control room software over a wirelessnetwork to generate a real-time alert. Data frompreliminary data-gathering trial is presented.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the supervision of special equipment security. The emergency solution of special equipment security system aims to integrate the emergency response department, such as police security, fire control, first aid, and traffic police and so on, to conduct the disaster rescue jointly under the command of the government departments. China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Center launched a GIS based system that manages the special equipment security. It designs the database, software and hardware structure, and functional module of the emergency solution of special equipment security based on WebGIS and GPS techniques. This paper analyzes three key issues of this system is explosion model, security patrol vehicles and special vehicles GPS positioning and special equipment monitoring. This system uses the information sharing technology based on Web Service. Transplanting GIS to Internet, designs special equipment spatial data WebGIS web site. B/S architecture is used in the system, and the software SuperMap IS Java of SuperMap Company is used as the GIS server for the spatial data publishing. This system also contains a PDA platform that provide for fieldwork.

Abstract:Based on the risk management theory and the PDCA cycle model, requirements of the railway passenger transport safety production is analyzed, and the establishment of the security risk assessment team is proposed to manage risk by FTA with Delphi from both qualitative and quantitative aspects. The safety production committee is also established to accomplish performance appraisal, which is for further ensuring the correctness of risk management results, optimizing the safety management business processes and improving risk management capabilities. The basic framework and risk information database of risk management information system of railway passenger transport safety are designed by Ajax, Web Services and SQL technologies. The system realizes functions about risk management, performance appraisal and data management, and provides an efficient and convenient information management platform for railway passenger safety manager.

Abstract:With more and more people entering universities for further education, more attention is paid to the campus safety. This paper addresses the needs of campus safety. This paper starts with the framework for block division, in which based on the data from sensors, the campus is divided according to the principle of geographic layout, functional design. Each block is assigned with a manager, who takes responsibility for safety and keeps an eye on daily supervision in case of emergency. Furthermore, on basis of sensors, the data is unified in respect of port, format and sharing, in order to build dataset. With the help of connecting network, many subsystems are listed and integrated in information control system. In emergency, the data is collected and analyzed by the information control system, then important information is sent to managers for decision. In addition, Planning and procedure of campus safety is discussed. Finally, a case is studied in order to describe the response for emergency in a campus.

Abstract:The massive construction of high-speed railway in China greatly promoted the development of passenger service systems at railway stations. However, passenger service systems on trains are lagged far behind. In this paper, an intelligent onboard passenger service system for high-speed railway is introduced. It provides travelling information, entertainment and online shopping services and so on to passengers who will have a delightful experience during the trip. Besides, it allows train attendants to better serve customers. The features of the system we developed include: a). Comprehensive context-aware environment based on Internet of Things; b). Distributed cooperate system architecture based on event or complex event processing; c). an intelligent service mechanism; c). Easy and flexible configuration for service adjustments and updating. In the paper, the architecture and functions are described briefly first, and then the key technology of the system is discussed. Abstract:Based on the analysis of the system requirement of the emergency management information system of urban rail transit network (EMIS-URTN), a layered EMIS-URTN architecture including 4 vertical layers and 2 supporting layers, which are network layer, data layer, service layer, application layer, security layer and standard layer, was put forward. The new design system can satisfy the requirement of the urban rail transportation management department on the emergency response information sharing and decision-supporting, and has the advanced features with the visualization and spatial-temporal information integration implemented on GIS technologies. The key technologies of the implementation of this system, which are spatial-temporal data integration model, information sharing platform based on multi-agent system were described in detail. Finally, the practical system development applied into the traffic control center (TCC) for Beijing urban rail transit network demonstrates the effectiveness of the design and implementation of the EMIS-URTN.

Abstract:With the rapid development of high-speed railway, subway, city railway, and intercity rail, how to ensure the reliability, safety, and comfort of such rail traffic transportation systems becomes the focus. Meanwhile, the social network service (SNS) is advancing so fast all over the world. How to combine the characteristics of rail traffic transportation systems with that of the social networks, which enable them to play an important role in the rail traffic operations, will become one of the core problems in the future development of intelligent rail traffic transportation systems. Based on the business requirements, the reliable transmission of information, and the characteristics of the rail traffic transportation systems, this article proposes a new concept of "dedicated social network" whose information are exchanged within the internal intranet. A novel social network architecture for rail traffic transportation system is proposed, including the SNS Management Center, a dedicated social network for internal information exchanges among the drivers, the dispatchers, and the train control center, the SNS for the information exchanges among the train marshals, crews, and passengers. The proposed framework attempts to exploit social networks in an active manner in the field of rail traffic transportation systems to make the system safer, more secure, reliable, comfortable, and humane.

Abstract:Artificial intelligence has developed rapidly and intelligent equipment has improved in the field of urban rail transit. The computer maintenance management system (CMMS) is still used, but cannot satisfy requirements from the internal systems of intelligent equipment. In the intranet, CMMS is only a platform processing based on the Web including information published, reviewed and task approval. However, it has simple logic and high manual repetition rate, which is similar with the electronic data processing system (EDPS) in the early 1950s. Based on the existing CMMS of urban rail transit, the paper analyzes the system requirements from the perspective of multiple scenarios including users, application, data, technology, and management. The information management system of intelligent maintenance equipment accelerates information integration and flow between multiple systems to create intelligent interaction experience between people and information resources. Therefore, it meets the requirements of intelligent maintenance equipment and promotes management efficiency.

Abstract:The demand for communications anywhere, anytime, and on any device without recording the date is growing with the development of modern information technologies. Current wireless communications enable people to freely exchange information, while web services provide loosely-coupled, language-neutral, and platform-independent ways of linking applications within organizations, across enterprises, and across the Internet. This paper describes a mobile information system for police service, which integrates wireless communication technologies and web service technologies. The system satisfies the special demands of police information systems, such as security and interoperability. Policemen in the system can use various kinds of mobile terminals, such as mobile phones, tablet PCs, personal digital assistants, and laptops equipped with wireless LAN or GPRS to access data in the central database. The system is based on web services with a secure web service architecture and simple object access protocol message passing.

Abstract:Efficient emergency response to traffic incidents is crucial for the purpose of saving lives and properties, eliminating the impact to the smooth flow of traffic. In this paper, a software platform to design and implement a computer-aided emergency management system capable of reacting to traffic incidents in due time is described. We format the information flow of handling with emergencies. This system is divided into four parts, Incident Assessment System, Plan Database System, Scene Information Display System based on GIS and Resource Allocation and Management System. Our focus is to develop a plan generated system dynamically for actions and resources adapting to a changing environment through its action plan database. Scene Information Display System based on GIS and Incident Assessment System are also discussed in details. Key challenges in system design are also addressed. Simulation results show the efficiency of the system.
