Abstract:Conventional GIS system can't express the complicated relations between objects.In order to solve this problem,the GIS data model is studied,then a geographic object data model is given in express highway based on the OpenGIS geometry data model,and at last the express-highway-GIS-T-system based on the object data model is implemented to enhance the capability of data representation in conventional GIS system.After that,a further extended GIS_T system is presented to users: Highway mangers who view that the system is according to the management criterion in the express highway,developers who view that the system is complete object-oriented,map operators who view that the system represents the real world.

Abstract:Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology has been widely used in the construction industry, especially in the field of civil construction. BIM standards, basic software and management platforms are relatively mature. The urban rail transit projects are linear projects, they not only span long lines, multiple regions, involve multiple disciplines, and are difficult to coordinate, but also have complex surrounding environments and high safety requirements. Therefore, their needs for integrated construction and operation applications are more concentrated. In order to solve the problems of data isolation, single display form, abnormal situation notification and delayed processing in urban rail transit construction monitoring, combined with GIS+BIM technology, a complete set of construction monitoring information management process and data organization plan is proposed, and the development is oriented. The construction monitoring system of project construction management focuses on solving the problems of the integration, display, early warning and secondary early warning of construction monitoring data. The system realizes the functions of input, storage, processing, three-dimensional display and early warning of measuring point information and daily measurement information. It is integrated with the GIS+BIM management and control platform, and the project is carried out in the construction project of Qingdao Rail Transit Line 8. Application, interact with functions such as model browsing, schedule control, engineering quantity management, video monitoring, etc., to improve the management efficiency and safety quality level of on-site construction.The mainstream GIS and BIM data based research on construction monitoring data standards promote the in-depth integration of construction monitoring data and improve the data entry and association efficiency.

Abstract:The freeway network has strong geospatial distributing characteristics, and is easy to implement the visual management by means of geographic information system (GIS)[1]. Thus, the paper has proposed a new design model of the provincial freeway network management information system (MIS) based on GIS. The management model based on the client/server architecture mode mainly supports such functions as input, management, maintaining, analysis, presentation and output of the geospatial data and it would offer a convenient tool for the freeway management offices. Moreover, the paper has set up a practical freeway networks and their facilities MIS based on this model. The practical system chose the database of Oracle and the spatial data engine of ArcSDE to manage spatial and attribute data, and was developed under the environment of .NET integrated to ArcGIS engine develop kit. The practice has indicated that the model was valid and practical. And the system has made up the conventional management's limitation and is worthy to be popularized widely.

Abstract:In view of the safety problems of railway crossings,the railway crossings safety management control system is developed based on GIS through the internet,by using the system engineering theory,remote control theory and computer network technology,in order to precisely collect the information of railway crossings for management and rescue in time,and to centralize the management and control of the dispersive railway crossings.The paper designs the system object,functional module and introduces the development methods.Practice shows that the safety management level of railway crossings has been increased and the informationzation and automation of railway crossing management and control is realized used the system.

Abstract:t is currently one of the research focuses in the fields of database and GIS for Spatial graphical data to storage in RDBMS. A data model of spatial graphical data storage in RDBMS is presented in this paper. The paper analyses the data organization and operation, the expression of spatial graphical features and system structure in the data model. According to the given data structure model, we realize the operation of storage, topologic arithmetic and topologic analysis for spatial graphical data in RDBMS based on SQL Server. Finally, an application example in land registration system is given by using the data model to implement compact spatial database engine based on SQL Server 7.0.

Abstract:The pretreatment of the numerical model including creating and calculating grids automatically and reading terrain information in the linear boundary technique is developed automatically by the use of the software of Arcview. Through integrating Arcview, Visual Basic and the numerical simulation model of the Yangze Estuary, the result data of the mathematical model such as tide level and velocity are visualized dynamically and interactively. The information system of the Yangtze Estuary′s mathematical model can offer different kinds of engineering databases.

Abstract:The China Levee Project Information Management System (CLPIMS) is an information management platform that was established for levee project management within the seven major river basins in China. The system was developed on the basis of the VS.NET and ArcGIS Server and was combined with the database theory and key techniques of WebGIS, which has the features of real-time display, enquiry, statistics and management of spatial data under browser/server mode. Moreover, additional applications, such as real-time monitoring, safety assessment, early warning and danger forecasting and online analysis, can be further explored through reserved modules. The CLPIMS can serve not only as a scientific, systematic, visual tool for analysis and decision management in levee projects in China but also as a technical platform for flood control practice. Furthermore, the system is capable of unified management and sharing of the levee project information for the seven major river basins in China, and it is important for the improvement of office automation, E-government applications and the level of flood control operations.

Abstract:The situations of geotechnical engineering monitoring system are complicate; and there are a larger number of monitored data to need be analyzed. For the traditional database system, it is hard work to analyze the monitored data and forecast the situations of geotechnical engineering. Based on the object-oriented Visual Basic soft and the object-oriented database management development system SQL, this work develops the visual system of analysis and predication for the situations of geotechnical engineering by methods of engineering visualization and GIS, which successfully achieve good combination of the database management, analysis and predication of situations; and the information visualization. It can quickly analyze the monitored data and precisely forecast the situations of the geotechnical engineering.

Abstract:As more and more traditional application systems begin to integrate 3D technology, building a 3D library application system with the advantages of 3D technology is conducive to improving the user's borrowing experience, improving the efficiency of users' querying books and reserving seats, and combining monitoring equipment can effectively improve the accuracy of seat occupancy monitoring, and through the statistics and analysis of reservation data, borrowing data and other data, it can provide decision support for library managers, thereby improving the quality of library services. This paper takes the library of Henan University of Technology as an example, based on the SuperMap iClient3D 10i for WebGL platform, based on the actual scene and related textures of the library, using AutoCAD and 3D MAX for 3D modeling; then using computer WEB, Cesium and Node.js Finally, a three-dimensional library application system with functions such as scene browsing, book query, seat reservation, occupancy monitoring, reservation statistics, borrowing statistics and user management is realized.

Abstract:The database is the basis of environment management information system, with the spatial data and associated attribute data increasing continually, the realization of the attribute database updated dynamically is taken as the core issue and must be resolved urgently. Adopting the component object model of geographic information system(GIS), such as Map Objects, rising the database connection technology, the function has been come true to add environmental information data promptly to the relational database on VB platform. Taking map rendering methods, visualization of information data can be realized by generating thematic maps, and the integration among spatial database, attribute databases and relational database has been fulfilled in order to avoid a large number of environmental information data entered the attribute database and result in data redundancy.

Abstract:GIS (Geographical Information System) is one of the computer systems that is applied to obtain, store, manage, analyse and display spatial data as well as for decision-making.It provides a new technique and study method to explore geographical environment.Today, GIS is used in many areas such as land use, resource regulation and city planning, etc.Along with the development of computer and internet technology, the speed of information spread is quickened and the diverse ways of spreading are available.The school education should be adjusted to adapt to the development, so as to bring forth the new network education technology which is based on computer and internet, combined with multimedia technology.In Nanjing University, the GIS network multimedia teaching system using the Authorware software and integrated it with the former GIS network teaching site using ActiveX plug-in has been realized.Our system leads students to an interactive net environment and let them study GIS basic knowledge, operation and its characteristic in the environment.By this means, the modernization of GIS education aims at popularization of GIS technology can be attained.Firstly, we analyzed the system demand and established its aim, function and content.Next we designed the main structure of the system, which includes the running condition of software and hardware and the whole frame of network teaching and Authorware courseware.We think that the proper operating system used in this teaching system should be Windows 2000 Server together with the Web Server IIS 4.0 and database system Access 2000.In order to make good use of this teaching system, the hardware system ought to be Pentium II and above, 128M memory, true color screen monitor with 800*600 resolution, sound blaster card, sound box and other multimedia equipments.To make connection between the GIS Authorware courseware system and the GIS course web site, the ActiveX control is applied.In the fourth section, we introduce the design details of our system including system implement scheme, the hierarchy and content organization of courseware system and designing of user browsing interface.The key technologies involved in it are shockwave knowledge flow using for browsing quickly in network, ActiveX control using for complex computation and human-computer interaction, design of demonstration of buffer analysis and ASP and HTTP using for searching function of GIS words database, etc.Finally, we conclude that our system is based on the working model which integrated Authorware courseware system with web net site system.The two systems can communicate with each other via plug-ins and form a system with full contents and running in high efficiency, so that we can get the aim that the contents and functions are complementary.

Abstract:Taking full advantage of the Internet and modern wireless communication technology, a solution to the current parking problems existing in China's metropolitan cities was proposed based on the parking guidance information system using Web and GIS technology. After thoroughly analyzing the functions and their correspondent module structures, this paper provides both overall and detailed designs using Visual C++ 6.0 and MapXtreme, a product of Mapinfo Corp., as the development platform of Web GIS. In the meantime, this paper also offers the design of database, parking infrastructure information collection method, information processing system, information inquiry and user interface, respectively. Abstract:Using GIS, network and database technologies, Beijing underground pipeline information system is established. After detailed analysis of the actuality and specialty of the present underground pipeline database managed by Beijing Institute of Surveying and Mapping (BISM), the paper systematically presents the studying purpose, meanings and primary contents. According to the study of pipeline data features, a spatio-temporal pipeline database classified by pipeline types is built. Based on the database, the urban underground pipeline information system is designed and developed by BISM, which unifies data from planning department and other departments, realizing modernized managements of underground pipeline data input, management, analysis and output.

Abstract:The library management system runs on the DOS system, based on the C lan-guage as the main programming language and Visual C as the development environment. According to the characteristics of the system, we construct the development model and then build structural analysis, system function modules and system flow chart through the demand analysis of the system. Through the analysis of each function module, the definition and attributes of the data and the realization of each function are determined. In the paper, the design of the library management system includes the user module, the administrator module and the module of tourists and also achieves the usual function including borrowing books, returning books and books management.

Abstract:To adapt to the "fine" and "extensive" management characteristics of railway signal equipment operation and maintenance, achieving real-time and interactive monitoring of signal equipment operation status, and developing an integrated approach to equipment operation and maintenance, this paper takes a comprehensive management perspective. To create a lightweight BIM model, the Garland folding algorithm is utilized to simplify the IFC file format. Building on this approach, the data are divided based on building component division standards to obtain separate files containing geometric information and semantic attributes. The geometric information files are converted to a 3D Tiles format, combining BIM semantic attributes with semantic attribute files through an intermediate format. Dynamic data management is achieved by setting the octree space index structure in combination with a view-frustum culling algorithm. Then, the 3D Tiles target file is imported into the Cesium platform, and Node.js is used to achieve three-dimensional visualization of railway signal operation and maintenance. The proposed method is verified using an inbound signal as an example to assess its feasibility. The results demonstrate the potential of the proposed method to achieve stable integration between BIM equipment full lifecycle maintenance and GIS geographical space display. Railway signal equipment is endowed with comprehensive one-click information query functions for equipment positioning and spatial analysis, improving the efficiency and scientific decision-making level of equipment operation and maintenance.
