Abstract:Workflow is a technology implementing enterprise informatization of complicated business.Modeling with UML to develop the workflow management system can improve consistency and reusability.The architecture of lightweight J2EE-based workflow mana-gement system was analyzed firstly.Then the steps and methods of modeling throughout all phases of the software developing were in-troduced.According to these,the application of objected-oriented modeling language UML in modeling the system in every phase was discussed in detail.

Abstract:Workflow systems now face a difficulty that most Workflow Management Systems (WfMS) only support few enterprises' existing applications and this problem has been the supreme bottleneck. Without uniform standard of integration, deployments of WfMS must be limited by exterior applications. So bringing a new application-independent integration framework forward becomes an urgent affair of WfMS. This paper imports Web Service and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) into the reference model of WfMC and introduces our extended workflow model which can support Web Service and other heterogeneous applications. A WfMS prototype based on the extended workflow model and its deployment into the Management Information System of a virtual enterprise are also presented.

Abstract:Workflow developed through several decades. With the appearance of the advanced technology, workflow is also changing quickly. The model of web services workflow has been proposed, but it is not used to the realistic application. Our work is to construct a web services workflow based on XML Process Define Language (XPDL). By virtue of two tools, workflow will enter the web stage, and theory is applied to concrete applications.Web Services use a loosely coupled integration model to allow flexible integration of heterogeneous systems in a variety of domains including business-to-consumer, business-to-business and enterprise application integration. XPDL is a kind of language standard that is used to define workflow process. It and web services are both based on XML standard. So they will be propitious to construct the strong workflow system in the web. The whole framework of system is put forward, and some arisen problem about technology will be solved.

Abstract:Research on workflow technology has been promoting the development of workflow management systems (WfMSs). Compared to centralised WfMSs, the development of distributed WfMSs are much more complex. Therefore, it needs to analyse their development from the software engineering perspective. This paper first presents the development lifecycle of distributed WfMSs, and then discusses issues of enterprise-wide workflow modeling and implementation of distributed WfMSs. Furthermore, we report on a case study and discuss issues related to the implementation of some components.

Abstract:Along with the extensive application of network and information technologies in enterprises, Dispersed Network Manufacturing (DNM) is becoming one of the most important manufacturing modes. Because of the obvious dispersed characteristic of the network manufacturing, the workflow management system will be greatly applied in the enterprise business and will become one of the most necessary supporting tools. However, the traditional workflow management systems are far from satisfactory. Especially under the network and dispersed environment, the traditional systems cannot satisfy the special requirements of the DNM. As a result, a new workflow management system for networked manufacturing based on mobile and collaboration technologies (k-WMFS) is presented in the paper. The architecture, features and key technologies of the system are discussed in the paper. The system can help us to improve the working efficiency, track and manage the executing process of cooperative work effectively under the DNM.

Abstract:The workflow technology plays an important role in the business process management and electronic government.The design and implement of the workflow engine based on relational data model provide a basic technique for that purpose.Based on the relational database,the workflow process model is built and expressed.The workflow engine architecture according to workflow reference model is proposed and key techniques in workflow engine are implemented.Combining with land use planning,a workflow engine server and a workflow client framework which can dynamically configured are developed.As a result,it shortens the cycle of development application system and reduces the complexity of the system maintenance.

Abstract:. Workflow technology is the core technology that enables enterprise business process modeling, simulation analysis, optimization, and business process management and integration, ultimately achieving business process automation. Studying and promoting workflow technology has important practical significance for enterprise informatization. With the globalization of market competition, enterprises must be able to quickly restructure their business processes to improve their competitiveness, which has led to widespread attention and research on their workflow issues. However, the current workflow technology is still not mature enough, especially when business processes involve collaboration between different enterprises, there are many deficiencies in interoperability. The emergence and development of web services have effectively solved this problem, so JBPM workflow technology based on web services has made up for the shortcomings of current workflow technology and has become a development trend. Through a specific description of the current situation of fixed asset management in the power industry, a demand analysis of the power fixed asset management system was carried out, and the overall design of the system was carried out. The standard J2EE three-layer software architecture system was adopted, with a component-based and object-oriented development mode as the overall design and development principle. Targeting the characteristics of wide scope, multiple departments, large quantity, large amount, and fast update of fixed asset management in the power industry, Strive for comprehensive and detailed functionality, easy and simple operation, and emphasize network information exchange and sharing. Finally, using the MVC pattern for detailed design and combining Struts, Hibernate, and other frameworks with the JBPM framework for specific implementation development, ultimately achieving the comprehensive goal of strengthening management, reducing labor intensity
