Abstract:Based on the origin design of suspension bridge in Cikou which called the simple flexible Ⅱ type′s bridge and the examination and appraisal on the structure which have been finished,the old design of bridge was reclaimed and designed in accordance with the norm of bridge truss so as to make the bridge advanced,safe and economical,concerned the located case and the money that may put into use.Structure was made full use and reclaimed in the spirit of the economy and breakthrough was made on the selection of the bridges types and the calculation of the design parameters.
