Abstract:The purpose of this study was to improve the mechanized cultivation and the seed form with seed pelleting method using polymers such as zeolite and montmorillonite. The present research was conducted in the Seed Phisiology and Technology laboratory and greenhouse of Faculty of Agricultural Science of University of Mohaghegh Ardabily during 2014 as a factorial experiment in three replicates. Safflower seeds were prepared from the Karaj Seed and Plant Improvement Institute. Treatments were three kinds of pellet (control, montmorillonite and zeolite) and three levels of nutrient elements (Zn chelate 20%, B chelate, N 25%). Seed pelleting of safflower seeds was done in the laboratory of Chemistry, Faculty of Basic Science of University of Maragheh. Filler materials (montmorillonite and zeolite) significantly effected on germination percentage, germinatiaon rate, mean germination time, mean daily germination, shoot and seedling length, root and shoot and seedling dry weight, root fresh weight, seedling water content, seedling vigour length and weight index, germinaion time and rate 50% (condition of laboratory). But there were no significant effect on germination index, root length and shoot fresh weight. Micronutrients significantly effected on germination rate, root and shoot and seedling dry weight, root fresh weight, seedling water content and seedling vigour length index (condition of laboratory). Zeolite pellet decreased percentage of germination, germination rate, mean daily germination, seedling water content, seedling vigour length and weight index and 50% germinaion rate when compared to control. Zeolite pellet increased shoot length , mean germination time and 50% germinaion time when compared to control. Interactive effect of filler material* nutrient elements significantly affected root and shoot and seedling dry weight, seedling fresh weight, shoot length. The highest value obtained by zeolite * Nitrogen 25% treatment. Followed it, all levels of filler materials and nutrient elements increased of mentioned traits. Non of filler materials and nutrient elements and interaction of them was not affected germination index, root length and shoot fresh weight. In greenhouse condition, filler materials significantly affected emergence percentage and rate, mean emergence time, seedling fresh and dry weight, chlorophyll a and b, sugar and protein content and pottassium. Zeolite pellet decreased percentage of emergence and emergence rate campared to control. Zeolite pellet decreased percentage of emergence and percentage of germination up to 11.31 and 42.33 over to control. While reduction in emergence percent was less than the germination percentage. Zeolite pellet increased seedling fresh and dry weight, chlorophyll a and b, sugar and protein soluble, pottassium campared to control. All levels of nutrient elements significantly increased seedling dry weight, chlorophyll a, sugar and protein, Zinc and Phosphor. But the highest value obtained by Nitrogen 25%. Interaction of filler materials* nutrient elements significantly affected emergence percentage, seedling dry weight, chlorophyll a, soluble protein. Highest seedling dry weight, chlorophyll a, soluble protein obtained by zeolite * Nitrogen 25% treatment. Followed by the use of zeolite and montmorillonite with chelated boron and chelated Zn 20% increased mentioned traits compared to control.
