Abstract:At present the focus of global economic competition is shifting from trade in goods to trade in services.The development of service trade has become an important standard to measure a country's international competitiveness.And now although the service trade keeps rapidly increasing in China,the overall development is low and it is in a situation of deficit for a long time.Therefore,scientifically analysing the relevant factors which affect the exports of China's service trade,and thereby gradually increasing the competitive advantage of China's service trade is extremely urgent and important.By introducing the non-parametric method-PLS(Partial Least Square) based on high-dimensional projection thinking,and using the annual statistics samples of China's service trade from 1990 to 2005,this paper sets up the established regression model.The result shows that the PLS regression model can effectively overcome the problems like few sample points and serious multi-co linearity among variables,thus it is useful for measuring and identifying the main factors that affect China's service trade objectively and accurately.Furthermore the empirical results of this paper are meaningful for making the related policies to enhance the competitive advantage of China's service trade.
