Loss and Show of Understanding:Reflection of Teacher Evaluation from the Philosophy Hermeneutic Perspective

Abstract:theoretical description about understanding in philosophy hermeneutic provides us with beneficial enlightenment for reflecting present teacher evaluation of both theoretical and practical problems.Problems of teacher evaluation in present China are analysed from the philosophy hermeneutic perspective,and the main problems are: intention of management and control in evaluation are very serious,individual differences are ignored in evaluation standard,a lack of true dialogue and communication in the evaluation process,a lack of all-sided feedback and explanation in evaluation result.To these problems,teacher evaluation should show the meaning of understanding,and the target of evaluation should be aimed at promoting teacher development in understanding,and the standard of evaluation should be evaluated the consensus of understanding by two parties,the evaluation process should be dialogue between the two parties,and the result of evaluation should be understanding explanation.
