Seminar Teaching Mode of Magnetic Physics Course

Abstract:Magnetic physics is an important core course for the major of electronic science and technology in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.The involved elemental theory and physical image are too abstract so that the traditional “teacher’s speech” and “indoctrination” methods could not confirm a fair teaching quality.Accordingly,this paper explores the seminar teaching mode of magnetic physics course.The course crew adopted teaching methods such as “Small class teaching + Small class study”,which combine the problems orientation,all students participation,reporting and defense,theory and practice.Through the above mentioned teaching methods and measures,one boosted students’ enthusiasm and interest,stimulated students’ motivation and exploration spirit,and cultivated students’ ability of critical-thinking and innovative consciousness.Finally,seminar teaching achieved a good teaching effect.
