Abstract:This paper introduces a new magnetic gear, about the structure and simple work principle, the points is the application of static simulation in ANSYS. The paper introduces the flux lines distribution and torque of the magnetic gears at different rotation angles combining with the static simulation diagram, thus explaining the principle of operation intuitively.

Abstract:This article contains a digest of the theory of electromagnetism and a review of the transformation between inertial frames, especially under low speed limits. The covariant nature of the Maxwell's equations is explained using the conventional language. We show that even under low speed limits, the relativistic effects should not be neglected to get a self-consistent theory of the electromagnetic fields, unless the intrinsic dynamics of these fields has been omitted completely. The quasi-static limits, where the relativistic effects can be partly neglected are also reviewed, to clarify some common misunderstandings and imprecise use of the theory in presence of moving media and other related situations. The discussions presented in this paper provide a clear view of why classical electromagnetic theory is relativistic in its essence.

Abstract:Transient analysis of power systems is a difficult course for the students of electrical engineering, in which the basic theory and short circuit analysis of synchronous machines are the most difficult part. Facing the decrease of teaching hours, it is not easy to let students understand the key and confusing points in very limited hours. This paper discusses the teaching scheme of the course. Many explanations, figures and well known formula are omitted due to limited space of the paper.

Abstract:With the continuous development in research on electromagnetic phenomena,people already realize the fact that magnetic phenomena source from the movement of charges and magnetic and electric fields are interrelated unity,which is called electromagnetic fields.Based on the fundamental theory of Lorentz transformation in special theory of relativity,this paper attempts to examine the relationship among the Lorentz force,the Coulomb force and the Ampere's force by employing the difference of charge density between two coordinate systems and the relativistic transformation of the electric field and electrostatic force.Lorentz force and Ampere's force are derived from the relativistic transformation of the electric field force,which might facilitate the understanding of the physical nature of the Lorentz force.

Abstract:The design objective of new experiment for the Electromagnetic Force is highlighting the electromagnetic field theory in teaching practice. The experiment has won positive response from students. It can be confirmed that the experiment enlightened the students to establish engineering analysis point of view. Students can better master the image method,the virtual displacement method,and understand the application of ferromagnetic materials in e-lectromagnetic engineering. This comprehensive innovative experiment helps students improve their ability of analy-zing and solving electromagnetic engineering problems.

Abstract:Through building single magnet model with ANSYS,according to the high-speed maglev vehicle in Shanghai,the magnetic field distribution under standard working conditions and that how the design parameters changing affected the levitation force were analyzed.The academic basis for optimal design of magnet and stability of levitation control were offered.Finally,by the analysis of the combining magnets model,the accuracy of the analysis of the single magnet model was proved.

Abstract:By solving three-dimensional vectorial equations which are independent of coordinate system,the relativistic motion of a charged particle in a uniform electric field is discussed.The trajectory,velocity and acceleration of the particle are obtained in the form of vectorial formula.Furthermore,dynamic graphing is realized by using the Mathematica 6 computing software,which allows a detailed comparison with the results under the non-relativistic limit.

Abstract:Magnetic physics is an important core course for the major of electronic science and technology in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.The involved elemental theory and physical image are too abstract so that the traditional “teacher’s speech” and “indoctrination” methods could not confirm a fair teaching quality.Accordingly,this paper explores the seminar teaching mode of magnetic physics course.The course crew adopted teaching methods such as “Small class teaching + Small class study”,which combine the problems orientation,all students participation,reporting and defense,theory and practice.Through the above mentioned teaching methods and measures,one boosted students’ enthusiasm and interest,stimulated students’ motivation and exploration spirit,and cultivated students’ ability of critical-thinking and innovative consciousness.Finally,seminar teaching achieved a good teaching effect.
NEW RESONANCE EARTH SYSTEM WITH MAGNETIC BIAS AND ITS PROTECTION

Abstract:Systematic studies of a resonance earth system with magnetic bias and its protection are proposed. A structure of arc-suppression coil with magnetic bias is presented. It consists of an iron core with three columns and five coils. The cross-section of the two side columns is cut down partly by two grades and the diminished parts act as the area where the magnetization occurs. By injecting current with 50 HZ into the neutral point, the capacity current of the network is measured so that the arc-suppression can be correctly tuned. Two detection algorithms for earth faults named increment function are proposed, one of which is zero current increment function used in permanent earth fault and the other is zero energy increment function used in transient earth faults. A set of equipment of resonance earth and protection is developed. It is proved that the arc-suppression with magnetic bias can be effectively used and the equipment based on increment function principle can detect correctly earth faults by over one year test on the power system.

Abstract:Magnetic actuation is an efficient way for wireless manipulation of micro-robots. One key factor for the actuation is determining of the magnetic field components and the field gradients of electromagnetic coils. Usually, magnetic dipole model or interpolation method is used to calculate the magnetic field. These methods are not well suitable for estimation of the magnetic field. In this paper, we present a mathematic magnetic field model of rectangular electromagnetic coils for magnetic actuation. The proposed model is based on the Biot-Savart Law and superposition principle. Finite element software is used to verify the proposed model. The final analytical expressions are given and simulation results show the feasibility of the method.

Abstract:The phase diagram and magnetization of a two-dimensional Lieb-like lattice consisting of magnetic atoms with mixed spins 5/2, 3/2, and 2 were investigated based on the effective-field theory with correlations. They exhibited a compensation point below their phase transition temperatures, reentrant behavior, and depressed saturation magnetization within typical parameters of exchange couplings and anisotropies. In addition, the influence of a periodically oscillating magnetic field on the dynamic order parameters of a two-dimensional Lieb-like lattice is discussed. These results can help further understand two-dimensional materials' static and dynamic magnetic properties.

Abstract:Due to uneven distribution of internal induction intensity length of the bar permanent magnet magnetization direction,the permanent magnet was build in subsection form,and the static attraction characteristic of one bridge type polarized magnet system was calculated by finite element method.Compared with the simulation and test result of unimproved permanent magnet,the result shows that the subsection algorithm can approximate to the practical situation.

Abstract:This paper systematically discusses the application and importance of Gauss's law and Bio-Savart's law in electromagnetism. Firstly, the basic principles and mathematical expressions of Gauss's law and Bio-Savart's law are introduced, and their applications in simple cases are also introduced. Secondly, it describes the application in complex cases, such as how to find the electric field strength of an object with an uneven charge, in which calculus is used to calculate the charge from the charge density. Finally, it emphasizes the role of the two laws in promoting scientific research and technological innovation, and calls for further exploration of their application and significance to promote the development and innovation in the field of electromagnetism. This paper aims to give readers a comprehensive understanding and inspiration of Gauss's law and Biot-Savart's Law, explain the application of the two theorems, and provide useful reference and guidance for the research and practice in related fields.

Abstract:We have tried to prove and show that magnetic flelds do have put repellent force on nonmagneticmaterials such as graphite and copper.In our experiment,we have tried several permanent arrays,and finally found a four-block permanent magnet array to produce a gradient field,and get the stable regions for levitation above the permanent magnets.We successfully make graphite to be levitated.We also use the paramagnetic solution and electromagnet to realize more obvious levitation for Al2O3 and Si.

Abstract:This paper investigated the calculation method of the static and dynamic characteristics of magnetic bearing. The general calculation method based on the basic solutions was put forward first. The basic solutions were defined based on local coordinate system, and then the coordinate transform relation between the static and dynamic characteristics of magnetic bearing with arbitrary structure and the basic solutions were deduced. Finally, the method of calculating the static and dynamic characteristics of magnetic bearing with arbitrary structure was provided. The calculation processes are quick, and a general and standardized method is also provided to calculate the static and dynamic characteristics of the magnetic bearing.
