Abstract:This paper presents a control strategy of multiple-frequency SPWM in verter incorporated in power network,and presents a voltage single-phase full -bridge grid-connected inverter which adopted TMS320LF2407 of TI company and indirect current control based on voltage vector.The unit power factor of the i nverter was realized and the energy unidirec-tional flow,i.e. the energy flow only from inverter to power net,so the inverter power device′s damage form en ergy flow backward was avoided. This scheme have simple control, good stability, and have particular application fields.

Abstract:This paper proposes an improved power-flow control method for the voltage-source-inverter grid-tied system. Comparing with the traditional grid-tied droop control, it can realize accurate power-flow control and restrain the harmonic current injected to grid. This method is designed based on the classical power-flow phasor model, and consists of an improved droop control in grid-tied mode and a harmonic-compensation control loop. Subsequently, mathematical modeling, analysis and contrast experiment results of the traditional method and the proposed method are presented, which validate the excellent performance of the proposed method.

Abstract:Multilevel inverters have been receiving increasing attention in recent years. Use of multilevel inverters has become popular for motor drive applications. Various topologies and modulation strategies have been investigated in the literature. This paper is devoted to the investigation of a new hybrid multilevel inverter system typically suitable for high-performance high-power applications. In this new topology, the H-bridge inverter (main inverter) and the 3-level diode clamped inverter (conditioning inverter) are connected together to drive the motors, but only the main inverter needs DC voltage source. The conditioning inverter is supplied by the floating ultra capacitors to store the braking energy of motors, which will be reused. The efficiency of the system can be improved. Compared with the traditional H-bridge inverter, this new scheme can reduce the DC sources while maintaining the same voltage output. When the motor is at steady state, the conditioning inverter can provide reactive power to the motor, so that the power factor of the main inverter can be improved. At the same time, the floating capacitor's voltage can be kept balanced by proper control. This scheme has a wide range of practical applications, especially in the electric vehicle motor drive and marine propulsion system.

Abstract:Advanced DC transmission technology is an important basis for building global energy Internet in the future. It is the main scheme to solve the problem of large power capacity long distance transnational or intercontinental transmission. In order to improve the receiving system of large scale power consumptive ability, The usage of UHVDC with hierarchical connection to AC grid technology has been extended in a wide range. However, due to the coupling relationship between the hierarchical DC inverter side, the traditional control strategy in inverter side easily leads to an commutation failure of converter valves on non-fault level when AC power system failure occurs on the other voltage level. This single fault causes fast conduction in different voltage levels through DC system, and the power grid will show fault characteristics in different voltage levels simultaneously, which expands the influence scope. This paper presents an improved inverter turn-off angle control strategy. Commutation failure preventive control parameters in logic were optimized through formula derivation and simulation analysis methods, which can ensure the stable operation of converter valve on non-fault level, and avoids the occurrence of simultaneous commutation failure on both voltage level. Electromechanical and electromagnetic hybrid simulation with practical planning power system is taken based on ADPSS software and the effectiveness is proved.

Abstract:The power consumed in hoisting system is up to 15% of the whole mine. To improve the efficiency of the hoisting system is an effective way to reduce the mining cost. In this thesis, the power consumed on the AC-drive hoisting system in different conditions—with and without high voltage inverter, is analyzed and computed. The result shows that, 25% of the power consumed in hoisting system can be reduced with high voltage inverter, which supplies an effective way on energy conservation in mining. Thus, the technology of applying high voltage inverter to AC-drive hoisting system is worth being researched and spread out.

In this paper, the power flow management for a new hybrid cascaded multilevel inverter is present. In this new hybrid inverter, the H-bridge inverter (main inverter) and the 3-level diode clamped inverter (conditioning inverter) are connected together to drive motor, but only the main inverter needs DC voltage source. The conditioning inverter just uses non-supplied ultra capacitors as its power source. Thanks to the proposed power flow management, the conditioning inverter can be used to store and reuse the braking energy of motor load. Therefore, compared with conventional H-bridge inverter, considerable energy efficiency improvement is achieved. Additionally, when the motor is at a steady speed, the conditioning inverter can provide the reactive power to the motor and improve the system dynamic performance. This control scheme has a wide range of practical applications, especially in the electric vehicle motor drive and marine propulsion system.

Abstract:In recent years, microgrid technology has been widely studied and applied. However, with times developing, the installed capacity of distributed power generation devices has been improved, and work is being carried out in increasingly complex situations, resulting in a decline in the control performance of microgrids. In view of this, to effectively improve inverter's control performance, research is conducted on the fusion of Narendra model and adaptive control strategies for real-time voltage correction and compensation in complex situations. Compared to traditional inverters, inverters under research methods have faster voltage recovery speed when encountering load switching, and can recover in about one cycle, with good control performance. In the comparison between the improved inverter adaptive control system and the inverter adaptive system, the improved inverter voltage recovery speed is faster, can be restored within one cycle, and the control effect of the inverter is better. The harmonic rate of the port voltage has decreased from 10.43 to 1.92%. The applicability of the research method was verified. It indicats that the research method can improve inverter's control effect and solve problems such as voltage deviation, three-phase asymmetry, harmonic pollution, etc. that are easily generated by the output terminal voltage. Simultaneously, research has provided theoretical basis and data support for the research of microgrids.
