Abstract:The new service pattern called embedded service had been introduced in this article,including its background,content,types and the difference between embedded library and subject library.Based on these concepts,the article concluded with four major service patterns of embedded service in Chinese library.They are mobile phone based,RSS based,community website based and the e-designated service patterns.This article also holds the point that the embedded service pattern is called by user's changing needs and library's responsibility for outreach service.

Abstract:In order to solve the library's demand for computer network technology, a research on the library's personal system service is proposed. A library-based self-service model was originally designed and developed. The system is developed from six aspects: resource association analysis and mining, reading interest analysis, data collection, personal service, personal service scheduling, and data warehouse. Secondly, it shows that this study has done some research on library application itself and completed some research. Finally, libraries can accomplish personal services in a variety of ways, such as distributing modifications, smart administrators, vertical portals, pushers, and more. In foreign libraries and universities represented by North Carolina State University and the Data and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the construction of personal data in digital libraries has become an important part of future development. According to the law, 57.9% and 65.0% of users ranked search engines as second only to e-mail in the China Internet Improvement Data released by the China Internet Network Information Center in 2000 and 2005, respectively.

Abstract:In this paper an overview of the foreign(mainly United Kingdom and the United States-based) public library service development for vulnerable groups,over a hundred years of history can be divided into five stages analyzed and discussed,namely,the late 19th century to the 1930s of the 20th century is a stage of services for working-class and other special populations;19401950s is a stage of universal service against the background of the welfare countries;1960-1980s is a stage of rising services for vulnerable groups against the background of community library movement;1980-1990s is the decline stage of services for vulnerable groups against the background of market and privatization;1997-present is a stage of resurgence and continuity of services for vulnerable groups against the background to combat the social exclusion and promote the context and harmonious . Each historical stage investigates the following problems:(1) influence of historical background( political,economic and social development) to public library service for vulnerable groups;(2) the service model,the main population and service content of library services for vulnerable groups under the historical conditions at that time;(3) the occupational concept,values and their limitations to contain in the library services. Service contains career behind the philosophy,values and their limitations.

And wisdom library in service to adhere to the people-centered principle, collection and release in for all kinds of resources in the process of deepening with the connection between the user, in order to ensure the application value of the resources, fully meet the needs of readers, the intelligent library is the current our country the important content of library construction and theoretical study. In this paper, the development of wisdom library and the future development of the way to carry out research are summed up and its optimization of the path to launch in-depth exploration.

Abstract:This paper expounds the intension of library individual information service,and the present situation of individual information service of the Chinese libraries in network environment,analyzes the defects in it. By giving an outline of the information architecture(IA)theory,the paper discusses relations between IA theory and the individual information service.The paper also concretely probes the revelatory tole of IA theory to individual information service and the theoretical model of them. Abstract:At present, the smart library has entered a crucial period of development. However, some key issues such as the framework, service platform and service system have not yet been solved. Focusing on the practical operation and the functional realization of smart library, this paper proposes a more complete and definite definition of smart library through practical exploration and summary. Then the top-level framework is designed and the service platform and service system are elaborated in detail. In order to provide research and practice reference, this paper puts forward the perceptive on-demand service system through the coordination of the five elements collection, service, technology, librarian and users.
