Abstract:Research-oriented universities,which focus on scientific research and talents cultivating,emerge in China as a result of the rapid development of science and technology in the 20th century.Talents in research-oriented universities include an outstanding research and teaching staff and excellent postgraduates.A research-oriented university plays an indispensable role in cultivating talents by taking advantage of its strong teaching staff, first class facilities for scientific research and sufficient funding.The paper presents a statistical analysis of 15 research-oriented universities in China,such as Tsinghua University,Beijing University and Nanjing University.Based on the analysis,four suggestions are made with regard to the policies concerning university teaching,university management,scientific research and fund use.

Abstract:At a time when a major shift has occurred in urban development from commerce-oriented to university-oriented, the exploration of and study on the university's spatial distribution and land utilization model are of great significance. The paper attempts, through an analysis of current spatial distribution and land use of colleges and universities in Hangzhou with the methods of literature review and factor analysis, to generalize various factors contributing to the formation of their spatial distribution, and to access their spatial distribution and land use in terms of economic, social and ecological benefits. Through research, the author has reached the conclusion that the current spatial distribution and land use of universities in Hangzhou is fully compatible with the direction of urban development, and plays a positive role in promoting urban spatial and structural optimization, innovation and upgrading of Hangzhou's industries, talents cultivation and cultural building-up. However, it should be improved in resources sharing among high institutions of high learning and their interaction with local communities.

Abstract:Using an empirical research method,this study gives an in-depth discussion on the per-ception and experience of 643 international students studying in 7 universities in Beijing.It analyzes in-ternational students'satisfaction on teaching-learning environment from the perspectives of demograph-ic characteristics,human capital characteristics,and the university type.Findings show that:interna-tional students overall give high evaluation on the teaching-learning environment in Beij ing,while their satisfaction on student service is relatively lower.There are significant differences in the evaluation on education environment among students with different demographic and human capital characteristics,as well as among students from different types of universities.To strengthen the competitiveness of the international education in Beijing,colleges and universities should devote more effort on information construction,the construction of first-class universities and disciplines,and academic and non-academic services for international students.

Abstract:Technology plays a very important role in the development of the society and economy.Because of the policies in China,universities play an important part of the national and local hi -tech activities.As the policy of “Rejuvenating the country through science and education”is implemented,universities achieve more and more funds and human re-sources.It’s important to know how to improve the ability of hi -tech innovation,develop the power of hi -tech innovation and also accelerate the transform from the technology to the benefit in China’s universities.Based on the statistics data from 2005 to 2013,DEA -BCC model is used to analyze the S&T resource input -output effectiveness of universities in China.And we also classify the universities in three groups - ‘211 and provincial jointly universities’,‘the other univer-sities’,and ‘colleges’,and analyze the effectiveness of each group.And then we will recommend what each group should do in the future to raise the S&T resource input -output effectiveness.

Abstract:The 21st century is the information age. The rapid development of new media has brought about sweeping changes to society, and while helping to improve the quality of higher education, a phenomenon of “hostage-type involution” of college students' academic qualifications has also emerged. This paper adopts the research methods of literature analysis and case study analysis and selects Shandong X University and Henan Y University as examples for comparative analysis under the “college entrance examination province”. The evolution of the above phenomenon has reached a white-hot stage, invariably affecting the physical and mental health development of college students and, at the same time, arousing the great concern of the school, society and the state, which needs to deeply explore the reasons for the formation of hostage-type involution of the network public opinion dissemination to the college students' blind pursuit of academic qualifications. Finally, we propose effective strategies and suggestions for universities and social media to manage the construction of online public opinion and to help students establish a correct view of pursuing academic qualifications according to various reasons.

Abstract:Chinese university evaluation is discussed from the aspects of the innovation (ideas, methods, technology), results and analysis, interpretation of the trend. This paper focuses on the analysis of the innovation of ideas, method and technology about university evaluation and interpretation of the trend from the data of 2012's evaluation. Three indexes university web influence index which represents the value of the university's brand, performance index influence network, comprehensive reflection of the school benefit and efficiency, and innovation index, reflecting university innovation ability and level, are introduced for the first time. The corresponding information system is also developed so that all the evaluation activity can be performed automatically and intelligently. From the result of chinese universities and subjects evaluation in 2012, it is concluded that the Chinese university brand value (including the network brand, special major setting and the discipline construction, etc), science and technology innovation level, performance level has a great influence on university comprehensive competitiveness.

Abstract:In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology, the Internet has gradually become an interactive platform for people to exchange ideas, collide emotions, spread information, and release emotions. The openness, anonymity, and inclusiveness of the Internet have reduced the obstacles of information dissemination and triggered the conflict of public opinion on the Internet. In addition, students actively express their opinions, attitudes, and feelings on important topics in life and study on the Internet, forming a certain scale of online opinions reflecting students' unique political attitudes, moral concepts, and values. Because college students are immature physically and mentally and the network environment is full of phenomena, it is easy to arouse their emotional resonance. Therefore, the free and diverse network environment presents new challenges and higher requirements of the times for the stable operation of college network public opinion guidance. Therefore, how to form systematic education in universities combined with ideological and political network public opinions under big data has become an important problem to be solved. Based on this paper presents the communication pattern of network public opinion and model it, namely, the random network public opinion transmission model. By comparing the scope and influence of the two transmission paths of network public opinion, the paper draws the conclusion and strengthens the teaching practice of ideological and political courses. Finally, it is pointed out that the research of the ideological and political network public opinion communication path is a complex digital communication system project, which requires the government, the media, and the schools together to give suggestions in the guidance of the network public opinion.

Abstract:Physical health is the foundation for the comprehensive development of college students, and with the development of social economy and changes in lifestyle, the physical health level of college students is facing various challenges and problems. Therefore, conducting a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of college students' physical health level and proposing corresponding improvement strategies has important theoretical and practical significance. Using various research methods such as literature review, mathematical statistics, and measurement, this study focuses on the physical health test data of students from Liaoning University of International Business and Economics from 2020 to 2022. The study aims to conduct statistical analysis on five aspects of students' grades, overall results, body shape, physical function, and physical fitness. The research results show that the body shape level of school girls shows a "two headed bias, and the middle is equivalent"; The overall respiratory system function of female students is slightly better than that of male students; The explosive strength and flexibility of male lower limbs are higher than the "pass or above" level specified in the National Student Physical Health Standards. Based on this, a causal analysis was conducted on the problems existing in students' physical health, and corresponding improvement measures were further proposed: to improve physical monitoring work and play the role of physical testing; Accelerate the reform of physical education teaching and implement the "four year consistent system" teaching; Strengthen extracurricular physical exercise and set up extracurricular physical education credits; Relying on sports associations to carry out various forms of sports activities; Guided by the construction of high-level sports teams, we aim to create a school sports brand.

Abstract:This paper studies the comprehensive quality evaluation system of college students, and puts forward a design idea based on the comprehensive quality evaluation data warehouse system of college students. Through questionnaire surveys, enterprise surveys, and investigations on students, the comprehensive quality of college students is evaluated. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to calculate the index weight, which can reflect the importance of scientific and reasonable indexes in comprehensive quality evaluation. Based on the evaluation of students' comprehensive qualities, data mining technology is introduced. This paper describes the system design of the data mining model for the evaluation of university students' comprehensive qualities and the realization process of the data mining system. It mainly uses frequent itemset mining methods, namely association rules and Apriori algorithm to generate association rules and frequent itemsets that affect the relationship between the factors of comprehensive quality. Based on the generated rule set, the relationship between the comprehensive quality assessment of college students and the employment situation of students is predicted, analyzed and mastered. Mastering this relationship is conducive to further training useful talents to meet the needs of the society, and it is beneficial for the employer to conduct targeted selection of talents

Abstract:China’s higher education system has experienced a profound process of restructuring and transformation from elite to mass higher education in the past decades. College students are struggling with an increasingly disconnected learning experience which is caused by a more competitive learning environment. Under these new circumstances, what is the nature of student engagement in China’s colleges and universities? How do different forms of student engagement affect undergraduates’ success in college? This empirical study examined self-reported data of 18,607 students from 55 Chinese colleges in Beijing through structural equation modeling. The main findings are: student learning experience in college is integrated; different forms of student engagement have a complex mechanism of impacting on each other and consequently directly and indirectly contribute to student gains in college. Findings indicate that institutions in China and other Asian countries need to capture a comprehensive picture of how students change through assessing student overall college experience from a variety of perspectives.

Abstract:This study used literature searches,interviews,onsite inspections,mathematical statistics,logical analy-sis,multidisciplinary teams and personnel training,to research the conditions of University Sports and analyze theproblems in College Sport Education. The study found confusion among supporting teachers due to the lack of stand-ardization in postgraduate training and a mismatch between modern scientific sports theory and current practice. Therelationship between contemporary university and college sports development is discussed with reference to socialbackground and course objectives. Suggested options to optimize the development of college sports include:reformingacademic methods of Sports Education,optimizing constructive goals of sports courses,restructuring academic organ-izations and personnel training,improving course structure and cultivating talented individuals. By incorporating sci-entific developments into the conventional way of thinking Chinese Physical Education can continue to develop suc-cessfully and grow sustainably into the future.

Abstract:Abstract This paper firstly researches the ideological and political education in higher education institutions in the background of the big data era and puts forward the innovation strategy of ideological and political education mode in higher education institutions in the big data era. Secondly, it studies the application of data mining technology in colleges and universities for ideological and political education. Based on data mining technology, the data on ideological and political education is determined by the clustering algorithm, followed by a quantitative examination of the policy text of ideological and political education of colleges and universities by calculating the quantitative statistical analysis of policy text, word frequency, and word cloud analysis. Then, the research subjects were selected, and the initial data were obtained using questionnaires, further pre-processing, and further empirical analysis of ideological and political education based on data mining technology. The consequences show that the proportions contained in the three types of score bands, namely 17.99%, 59.38% and 9.96%, basically match with the sample proportions accounted for by the three types of grades assessed by clustering, namely 30.51%, 62.02% and 8.47%, which confirms that such a model of data mining adopted according to the quantitative table of ideologic and politic education assessment in higher education institution is a very successful model. This study contributes to the innovation of online ideological and political education work in higher education institutions in the context of big data.

Abstract:In recent years,with the expansion of Chinese higher education enrollment,How to ensure the excellence of higher education and how to enhance the learning outcomes of student have caught the higher education stakeholders' attention,such as higher education institutions,the government,the society,students and their families.Using data from the Beijing City Survey of Student Engagement,this study examines the educational characteristics between the different type of higher education institutions,and the relationships between educational quality and the student learning outcomes (e.g.,the talent development、satisfaction with college).Findings show that educational quality has positive modest effects on student outcomes,even after controlling for student family background variables.Systematization and practicability of curriculum,diversiform teaching methods,providing mentality consultation about learning,employment,and communication out of classroom for students both have significantly positive effect on promoting the development of talent and satisfaction with college.

Abstract:Foreign students in Beijing are a comparatively fixed group,a large scale with non-official status,and high sensitivity of feedback;and their observation of Beijing constitutes a unique perspective from the outside to the inside,or from something foreign to the essence.My study reveals that the foreign students have the highest satisfaction toward "cultural Beijing",a positive evaluation of "Olympic Beijing",but severely critical to the "daily Beijing" on city environment,Beijing citizens' behaviours,and the city transportations.So Beijing should be more self-conscious in observing the traditional Chinese culture,enhancing the salvation and management of the historical and non-material inheritances,taking an active stance for international popularization of Beijing culture,molding cultural products of high ranks,and actively undergoing cultural export.It should also promote foreign students' education levels in diploma degrees and training qualities,so as to help them practically experience the identity of Chinese culture.
