Abstract:The application of digital technology in the diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial surgery has promoted the gradual transition from the traditional experience-dependent diagnosis and treatment mode to digital surgery. However, there are some limitations in the application of digital surgical technology. Recently, artificial intelligence has shown tremendous development. The oral and maxillofacial surgery with the goal of digitalization and intelligence has become an important direction of the development of the discipline. Based on the research results domestic and abroad, we discuss the application status and existing problems of artificial intelligence in oral and maxillofacial surgery, in order to promote the further development of artificial intelligence in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
