Abstract:The fundamental element and characteristic of the existence of a community is sharing. People form a community through sharing wealth, knowledge and power and then form shared values. In the face of the social differentiation and identity crisis in the process of modernization, it is necessary to adhere to the principle of sharing and cultivate the “we” consciousness in the process of strengthening the social organic unity. Among them, building a new democratic community is the requirement of socialist development and the fundamental goal of the rejuvenation of Chinese civilization. To strengthen the consciousness of the Chinese national community,we need to solve many deep structural contradictions in the process of modernization, and then cultivate a new consciousness that conforms to the direction of historical progress.
