Abstract:Professional practice is an important system design to highlight the nature of engineering professional degree and to test the effectiveness of graduate education reform of professional engineering degree. This paper combs the relationships, forms and characteristics between professional practice and engineering degree graduate education at different stages of development from the international perspective and local action, and excavates the value implication of professional practice to the development of engineering degree graduate education from the philosophical level. On the basis of historical investigation and value analysis, this paper puts forward the possible paths for the high-quality development of professional practice of graduate students majoring in Engineering that it is important to integrate into the engineering situation, to enrich graduate students’ engineering practical knowledge, and to embed the practice platform to improve the engineering practice ability of graduate students. Besides, we can also introduce engineering projects to improve the engineering research ability of graduate students and integrate professional quality and cultivate their engineering ethical responsibility.
