Abstract:Soil liquefaction is one of the important reasons for the damage of underground structures in earthquakes.Taking the underground reinforced concrete structure of water diversion pumping station in a liquefiable site as the research object, this paper establishes a nonlinear finite element model considering soil-structure interaction by using the reinforced concrete fiber model and the elastic-plastic constitutive relationship of soil in OpenSees. The soil-structure system of liquefiable site is dynamically analyzed by using the solid-liquid two-phase fully coupled effective stress method, and the seismic response of site soil and structure as well as the seismic bearing performance of structure are studied. The results show that the soil liquefaction on both sides of the structure caused by strong earthquake leads to large horizontal deformation of the surrounding soil and structure, and the maximum shear strain of the soil is about 2%. The internal forces at the junctions of side walls, middle plates, and bottom plates are relatively concentrated, and some walls and plates show strong nonlinear bending deformation characteristics. The shear demand capacity ratio and inter-story displacement angle of the structure are within the limit of the code, meeting the seismic performance requirements under strong earthquakes, which provides the reference for similar engineering design.
