Abstract:With the implementation of policies, such as: Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Deepening the Reform of Institutional Mechanisms and Accelerating the Implementation of Innovation-Driven Development Strategies,” “Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Deepening the Reform of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Colleges and Universities” and the State Council’s “Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Create an Upgraded Version of Entrepreneurship and Innovation,” the enthusiasm of local governments and colleges and universities runs high, combined with the provincial situation, the implementation plan for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher education institutions is introduced. Under the policy support and active guidance of governments at all levels, the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in China’s colleges and universities has achieved remarkable results.

Abstract:The entrepreneurship education in Chinese higher institutions has accumulated some experience after ten years of development.However,compared with the great demands of the social economic in China,the development of entrepreneurship education still lags far behind.University students have weak entrepreneurship intention and ability,and also lack entrepreneurship knowledge.Therefore,entrepreneurship education in Chinese higher education institutions should adopt the development idea featuring "concept guidance,classification construction and system guarantee",and establish tridimensional entrepreneurship educational outlook,pay special attention to the construction of teacher team and curriculum which are the two core links,as well as establish the supporting system to promote the optimum development of entrepreneurship education.

Abstract:The development model of entrepreneurship education (EE) in China is a typical representation of a government-driven model, and those policies unveiled by the central party and government authorities make big differences. Since 1998, central and local governments have introduced multiple policies promoting the development of entrepreneurship education in China. On the whole, EE policies in China have been increasing year by year, especially after Premier Li Keqiang put forward the slogan of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” in September 2014 at the Summer Davos. EE policies in China have resulted in explosive growth and directly raised an entrepreneurship wave across the country.

Abstract:Under the background of current economic and social growth, innovation and entrepreneurship have become an important force to promote social progress and development. As the backbone of the future society, university students' innovative ability and entrepreneurial spirit are of great significance. This article aims to explore the combination mechanism of university students' innovation ability and enterprise education. Through in-depth theoretical analysis and empirical research, it is found that the combination of university students' innovation ability and enterprise education has important theoretical significance and practical value. It helps to cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial talents. By cultivating university students with innovative ability and entrepreneurial spirit, it can deliver more innovative talents and entrepreneurial strength to the society and promote the sustainable development of the national economy and society. At the same time, this study also reveals the problems and shortcomings of university students' innovation ability and enterprise education, and puts forward some specific combination mechanisms and optimization strategies. These conclusions provide reference for universities to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education (IEE) and practical activities, and also provide new ideas and methods for future related research.

Abstract:Innovation and entrepreneurship are increasingly associated with economic, technological and social development (Fagerberg, Fosaas, and Sapprasert 2012 ; Landström, Harirchi, and Åström 2012 ). As countries strive to strengthen their knowledge-based economies, policymaking has focused on how innovation and entrepreneurship activities can accelerate economic growth, promote industrial upgrading and transform employment structures (Bartels et al., 2012 ; World Bank, 2015 ). Universities, as organizations dedicated to knowledge transmission, production and application, have come under heighten pressure to demonstrate their contribution in nurturing talents, spurring innovation and supporting the development of knowledge-based economies (Etzkowitz 2003 ; Jessop 2017 ). Notably, universities' engagement with innovation and entrepreneurship is often conceptualized by the term "entrepreneurial university." This concept refers to universities that vigorously generate additional financial resources to support their operation through commercializing knowledge, forming collaborations beyond academia, and integrating an entrepreneurial culture (Clark 2001 ). The "triple helix model" further highlights the need for universities to engage deeply with industry and government to propel economic and social progress (Etzkowitz and Leydesdorff 2000 ). Undoubtedly, the emergence of such concepts has changed the positioning of universities from a support structure for innovation and entrepreneurship through knowledge generation, research output and personnel training to influential actor and equal partner (Etzkowitz 2003 ).

Abstract:With China's socioeconomic development, especially in the educational sector, foreign advanced education experience might not be omnipotent for the innovation and entrepreneurship education (IEE) in Chinese colleges. In response to such a difficult context, firstly, this study was conducted to analyze the applied innovative talent cultivation status quo in Chinese colleges under innovation and entrepreneurship. Then, the authors dug into the current situation and the development of IEE-related courses in College S through Questionnaire Survey (QS) and unveiled the efficacy of entrepreneurship environment and conditions, IEE courses, teaching methods, and policy system on the college applied innovative talents cultivation. Finally, the experiment discovered that three problems are prominent when training applied innovative talents in College S: unreasonable talent training process, imperfect education system, and emphasizing theory over practice. The main reason is that the IEE courses are not systematically set up, and teachers are in severely short supply. According to the research outcomes, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were proposed for applied innovative talents cultivation in College S. It is concluded that the cultivation of applied innovative talents under innovation and entrepreneurship should be reformed from four aspects: educational concept, educational model, educational policy, and social support, laying a foundation for improving the quality of IEE in Chinese colleges and universities and strengthening the cultivation of applied innovative talents.

Abstract:In recent years, innovation and entrepreneurship education is one of the hot spots of higher education research and practice in China. Innovation and entrepreneurship education can be taken as a new direction. Despite the commonly held view that entrepreneurship education drive the promotion of entrepreneurial intention, little is known about the mechanism through which this intervention impacts on entrepreneurial intention. Based on the assimilation learning theory of cognitive structure and the planned behavior theory, the purpose of this work is to analyze the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship education (IEE) and entrepreneurial intention from the perspective of educational psychology, to explore the influence mechanism of IEE on entrepreneurial intention, and to promote the success of college students in entrepreneurship. In this study, questionnaires were conducted among college students of different colleges, majors, and grades in Anhui province, with the aid of multiple linear regression analysis and mediating effect model analysis. The results show that IEE has positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. In addition, entrepreneurial knowledge plays a mediating role in the relationship between IEE and entrepreneurial intention. And the mediating effect of innovation behavior and entrepreneurial attitude is not obvious. These results are expected to provide evidence for understanding the relationship between IEE and entrepreneurial intention under the background of Chinese education, to enrich and expand the theoretical basis of IEE, and to possess theoretical, empirical, and practical significance for the design and implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students.

Abstract:This article analyses the higher education systems and institutions in China,and proposes that the great expansion of higher education in China is facing an urgentissue, which is the institutional innovation of the educational system. Principles and thoughts on the innovation of higher education systems in China are laid down for the government and higher education institutions; it proposes the guidelines, contents of institutional innovation, and sums up the achievements obtained and forecasts the trend in the future for the institutional innovation in higher education. Abstract:With the changes in China's demand for innovation, the State Council, the Ministry of Education, the National Science and Technology Administration, and other departments have issued several proposals and opinions, and colleges and universities should actively adjust the policies of innovation and entrepreneurship education to respond to the call. Colleges and universities implement innovation and entrepreneurship-related systems, but the effect is unsatisfactory. Its essence does not lie in the determination and attitude of colleges and universities, but in the formulation of the program system itself that is not close to reality and has not mastered scientific methods. As a result, there are many problems in colleges and universities, such as scattered scientific research resources, low quality of scientific and technological achievements, low patent conversion rate, and slow progress in the integration of production and education. After observing from the perspective of knowledge innovation, it proposes to strengthen the reform of ideological education and training, strengthen the research on quality standards of innovation and entrepreneurship, and deepen the integration of production and education, to solve the current situation of difficult innovation and entrepreneurship in colleges and universities.

Abstract:The composition of abilities of innovation and entrepreneurship instructors and their state of competence are key to the advancement of efforts for innovation and entrepreneurship education at higher education institutions, and the multidimensional dynamic structure of instructor abilities determines the baseline for the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education at higher education institutions. On the basis of an empirical survey of a large sample of 1,231 higher education institutions across China, this study designed a scale for the composition of basic abilities among innovation and entrepreneurship instructors, a scale for factors influencing the improvement of abilities, a scale for the operating mechanisms of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and a scale for the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and applied a multiple regression analysis model to verify the relationship among the three factors of the composition of instructors’ abilities, the operating mechanisms for innovation and entrepreneurship, and the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education. The study found that the structure of abilities of innovation and entrepreneurship instructors at Chinese higher education institutions is unbalanced, and they lack specialized knowledge and skills; the measures for organizational support provided by higher education institutions as the major agents implementing innovation and entrepreneurship education are undiversified; and the current state of development of the abilities of innovation and entrepreneurship instructors does not suffice to support sustained improvement in the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Chinese higher education institutions must construct organizational support systems aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship instructors’ sense of identification and specialized development.
