Abstract:This paper introduces in detail the main processing contents of the transmission shaft. At the same time, the processing characteristics of shaft parts were discussed, and the methods and steps of processing the machining process of shaft parts were analyzed. Processing scheme decision making, in accordance with the nature of the material, shape and position accuracy requirements, select the appropriate program, and then according to the surface roughness requirements, select the processing program. With the analysis of the shape and position precision and the surface roughness and the plan of the plan, the processing scheme is reasonable.

Abstract:In order to improve the dynamic balancing efficiency,accuracy and the automation of the crankshaft for the inland manufacture,an automatic dynamic balancing scheme is studied.Form the view point of the system,the key problems that should be considered is summarized,w hich include the balancing test unit and driving system,the support-up and rotating unit,the drilling unit,the scraps disposal unit,the control system structure,the controller,the analogue and the digital signal process,the mathematic model,the cut positioning method,the sequence control method and so on.The prototype machine is developed.And the experimental results prove that the scheme is successful.

Abstract:This paper is designed for bearing processing technology and fixture. The main task is to work out the half fine milling under 36mm, Φ18 holes, bearing the processing technology of the rules of procedure, and write CARDS. Its parts are casting, which is small and of simple structure. Moreover, the components of the hole processing is higher than that of the surface, so the processing order of surface first is taken. The fixture special jig is adopted in each working procedure, among which in a drill Φ18 holes, the hydraulic clamping is used, which is simple, convenient and can meet the requirements.

According to the structural characteristics of the intake manifold, the shape analysis, fixture positioning analysis, clamping process analysis and clamping force analysis, through the computer-aided fixture design (CAFD) to establish an effective fixture 3D model, complete fixture design. The fixture has fast clamping, positioning and other functions, improve production efficiency and reduce processing cost.

Abstract:For the critical engine parts such as the crankshaft, the fatigue limit load is one of the most important parameters involved the design and manufacture stage. In previous engineering applications, this parameter has always been obtained by experiment, which is expensive and time-consuming. This paper, based on the theory of critical distance (TCD), first analyzes the stress distribution of a crankshaft under its limit load. In this way, the length of the critical distance can be obtained. Then a certain load is applied to a new crankshaft made of the same material and the effective stress is calculated based on the critical distance above. Finally, the fatigue limit load of the new crankshaft can be obtained by comparing the effective stress and the fatigue limit of the material. Comparison between the prediction and the corresponding experimental data shows that the traditional TCD may result in bigger errors on some occasions, while the modified TCD proposed in this paper can provide a more satisfactory result in terms of the fatigue limit for a quick engineering prediction.

Abstract:Aerospace parts have the characteristics of complex shape and high machining accuracy, the machining processes of which is complicated and diverse. Numerous special tooling fixtures need to be designed to ensure the smooth implementation of the machining process. In particular, the cabins of the aircraft have thin-walled, weakly rigid, complex, and special-shaped curved structures, the clamping alignment of which is difficult because of a great deal of human influence and poor versatility. In response to the above problems, off-machine clamping technology was investigated, which supports the non-intervention processing of flexible production lines. Then, a scheme suitable for accurate transmission of benchmarks was proposed. A cabin's mathematical model of casting clamping force analysis was established. Immediately afterwards, the optimization of clamping project was realized by a finite element analysis method based on clamping force and deformation control. The off-machine clamping scheme was designed to realize rapid positioning and accurate datum transmission between flexible tooling and parts, flexible tooling, and equipment. Finally, the designed scheme was implemented through a case to verify its feasibility.

Abstract:Low stiffness and positioning problems are difficulties and challenges in the precise machining of near-net-shaped blades. This paper aims to achieve high accuracy in manufacturing by fixture-and deformation-control in the adaptive CNC machining process. Adaptive CNC machining technology is first analyzed, and new fixture-evaluation criteria and methods to evaluate the adaptive CNC machining process fixture design are built. Second, a machining fixture is designed and manufactured after analyzing its positioning scheme, clamping scheme, materials(PEEK-GF30), and structure characteristics. Finally, the designed fixture is analyzed by FEA and experimentally verified by a cutting experiment. The results show that the deformation of the blade is an overall rigid-body displacement, the main deformation of the blade-fixture system occurs on the four clamping heads, and this fixture can effectively protect the blade from local deformation. The proposed clamping-sequence method reliably and effectively controls the local maximum deformation of the blade. The system stiffness is increased by 20 Hz, with each clamping force increased by 200 N. Both high-and low-frequency displacement in roughing milling or finishing milling are acceptable relative to the accuracy demand of blade machining. This fixture and an adaptive CNC machining process can achieve high accuracy in blade manufacturing.

Abstract:This paper mainly introduces the coaxial tolerance to demand higher slender shaft,its single or small batch production processing method and the finite element analysis.Making entity modeling by SolidWorks,and analyzes its cause in the machining process of the deformation of the factors,and carries on the analysis of the technology,and the detailed process steps to explain,in actual processing process,using this method can improve the machining accuracy and reduce scrap,guiding significance to the actual processing.Using Simulation on the processing of slender shaft forming in finite element analysis,exert the load,the stress,strain and displacement analysis,and the stiffness,check the assembly is of guiding significance for actual.

Abstract:The quality of the part is characterized by precision of its processing. A good fit of the product parts and, as a consequence, its reliability in general depends on how accurately the size and shape of the part is maintained during machining. In this connection, the article considers the problem of ensuring the accuracy during machining of work pieces using CNC machines. Within the identified problem, the analysis of known technical solutions in this area was carried out and three main areas were identified: optimization of cutting conditions, improvement of the treated surface area according to the criteria for increasing the resistance of the cutting tool, as well as error tracking and correction during machining. The main disadvantages of the analyzed methods and inventions are complexity of their implementation, the need to equip the CNC machine with an adaptive control system, and a limited field of application. Therefore, a method for controlling the accuracy of shaft processing using mathematical and finite element modeling is proposed.

Abstract:Crankshaft is the key component of internal combustion engine equipment, the machining precision of crankshaft hole has a direct impact on the performance and life of the whole engine. Aiming at the precision machining of crankshaft bore of large medium speed engine block with high precision and multiple crankshaft holes, the inspection tool and straightness measurement method of finishing process on crankshaft holes were studied. Based on the virtual manufacturing technology and the modular design concept of the checking tool and the laser detection and alignment technology, a relationship model describing the matching between the center straightness of the crankshaft hole and the crankshaft deflection is established. A single crankshaft hole shape and position tolerance measurement and multi-crankshaft hole are designed. The special measuring tool for measuring center deflection is verified by experiment to find the compensation law for the deflection of linearity evolution, and should be used in the process of finishing with crankshaft hole. The results of many cutting experiments and laser measurements show that the tool can effectively measure the size deviation and deflection of crankshaft holes, and form a quality control method for crankshaft holes finishing. This study aims to provide a set of measurement methods for crankshaft holes straightness error of large internal combustion engine block..

Abstract:The lathe-bed structure has a great influence on the overall performance of a lathe. The CNC lathe-bed model is established based on the finite element method, then the defects of the lathe-bed structure were found out by dynamic and static analysis. The reasonable layout of stiffened plate structure in the lathe-bed is put forward without altering the shape size and interface dimension of the lathe-bed, and three better types of modification configuration of the lathe-bed were proposed in this paper.

The DMU kinematics module is used to eliminate the interference. Optimize the structural parameters to improve the stability and accuracy of machine tools.

Abstract:Ultra-precision shaft components are widely used, such as the shaft core of air-floating spindle, etc. At present, the final precision of such workpieces are difficult to reach through CNC machining tools, but often with the help of manual grinding, of which the machining precision and efficiency are greatly limited. Based on the deterministic figuring method, this paper uses an abrasive belt polishing machine to carry out ultra-precision figuring experiments on shaft parts. On this basis, an ultra-precision composite machine tool for shaft parts is designed with the functions of turning, grinding and abrasive belt polishing. The dynamic performance requirements of the machine tool are put forward by analyzing the precision index of the workpiece and the error control principle of deterministic figuring, and the structure of machine tool is designed and the performance parameters of each part are selected. combined with the finite element analysis, the key components are optimized to meet the machining requirements of 0.1μm roundness and 1μm cylindricity on the steel shaft.
