Abstract:Octopamine (4-(2-amino-1-hydroxy-ethyl)-phenol hydrochloride) acts as a neurotransmitter, neurohormone,or neuromodulator in invertebrate nerve tissue, and is an ideal target for development of highly active, highly selective,and biorationally designed pesticides. In addition, octopamine has the ability to strengthen body metabolism and curediseases such as neurasthenia. Phenol and aminoacetonitrile hydrochloride undergo nitrile acylation in the presence ofanhydrous aluminum tricloride, followed by hydrolysis to yield a carbonylated product, and then a Raney nickelcatalyzed hydrogenation reaction to give the final product with an overall yield of 65%.

Abstract:We have developed a novel and efficient method for the preparation of 2,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles. These compounds 3a-3p were synthesized in good yield by refluxing alpha-aminoacetophenones and hydrazines in glacial acetic acid. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions and is compatible with various functional groups.

Abstract:The development of a novel synthesis of acetophenone benzopyran is reported. A acetophenone benzopyran derivative was prepared from 1-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethanone (3) through O-prenylation and Lewis acids catalyzed intermolecular cyclization reaction. The structure of product 1-(3,4-dihydro-4,4-dimethyl-7-hydroxy-2H-1- benzopyran -6-yl)- ethanone (1) was characterized by UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and elemental analysis.

Abstract:AIM The aim is to prepare 1 (3 fluoro 2,6 dimethylphenoxy) propanone(Ⅱ\-a) and 1 (4 fluoro 2,6 dimethylphenoxy) propanone(Ⅱ\-b). METHODS It is prepared \%via\% 2,6 dimethylphenol by the nitration, reduction, Schiemann reaction, condensation, but different strategies were used while choosing the nitration agents, protective groups, order of the removal of protective groups, and the condition of fluorination when synthesizing two target compounds. RESULTS Two target compounds and intermediate 3 fluoro 2,6 dimethylphenol(Ⅴ\-b) were synthesized. The structures of the three compounds were determined by the spectra analysis and elemental analysis. CONCLUSION The two target compounds can be used to synthesize F subsituted analogies of DDPH.

Abstract:The title compound, C9H15NOS, was prepared by asymmetric synthesis from 3-dimethylamino-1-(2-thienyl) propan-1-one hydrochloride. In the molecule, the essentially planar CCCN chain makes a dihedral angle of 16.7 (3)degrees with the thiophene ring. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds to form a chain along the b axis.

Abstract:The title compound, C(26)H(25)NO, was obtained via a one-pot synthesis from the reaction of 2-naphthol, 1-(p-tol-yl)ethyl-amine, p-toluene-sulfonic acid and benzaldehyde. There are three mol-ecules per asymmetric unit, all having similar conformations. There are intra-molecular O-H⋯N and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, with only van der Waals forces found between mol-ecules.

Abstract:A convenient synthesis of optically active alpha,alpha'-diphenyl-2-pyrrolidinemethanol(1) starting from L-proline, based on different N-protections, was described. Different N-protections had no effect on the optical purity of compound 1, but gave different chemical yields. The yield was the lowest when PhCH2 was employed for N-protection. An investigation on the effect of N-protection on the chemical yield and the optical purity of compound 1 led to a convenient preparation of the new chiral oxazolidinone 3. The structure of 3 was identified with H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, MS and IR.

Abstract:The intermediate 1,l,l-tris-(benzenesulfonyloxymethy1)propane was obtained from the reaction of 1,1,1-tri(hydroxymethyl)propane with benzenesulfonyl chloride,then it reacted with p-nitrophenol under alkaline conditions,produced the target compound.The intermediates and target compound have been characterized by IR spectrums,1H NMR and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.It shows that the target compound crystal belongs to triclinic system,the space group is P-1,with the crystal cell parameters a=0.78731(11),b=1.25683(18),c=1.31155(18)nm,α=97.554(6),β=103.184(5),γ=102.840(6)°,V=1.2091(32)nm3,Z=2,Dc=1.366g/cm3,Mr=497.45,R1 =0.0512,wR2=0.1600.A two-dimensional supramolecular layer architectures of title compound have been formed via the hydrogen bondings and π-π stacking interactions(CCDC:848867).
