Abstract: Eliasson and Kuksin developed a KAM approach to study the persistence of the invariant tori for nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation on $\mathbb{T}^{d}$. In this note, we improve Eliasson and Kuksin's KAM theorem by using Kolmogorov's iterative scheme and obtain a local normal form for the transformed Hamiltonian. As a consequence, we are able to derive the time $\delta^{-1}$ stability of the obtained KAM tori.

Abstract:It is well-known that a KAM torus can be considered as a graph of smooth viscosity solution. Salamon and Zehnder (Comment Math Helv 64:84–132, 1989) have proved that there exist invariant tori having prescribed Diophantine frequencies for nearly integrable and positively definite Lagrangian systems with associated Hamiltonian H , whose Diophantine index is τ . If the invariant torus is represented as 𝒢=⋃_x∈𝕋^n(x,P_0+Dv(x,P_0)) in the cotangent bundle T^*𝕋^n , then we can show that for any viscosity solution u ( x , P ), which satisfies the H-J Eq. (1.1), Du(x,P)-Dv(x,P_0)_∞≤ CP-P_0^1/τ+1, when P-P_0 is small enough.

Abstract:We consider nonlinear Schrödinger equations on flat tori satisfying a simple and explicit Diophantine non-degeneracy condition. Provided that the nonlinearity contains a cubic term, we prove the almost global existence and stability of most of the small solutions in high regularity Sobolev spaces. To this end, we develop a normal form approach designed to handle general resonant Hamiltonian partial differential equations for which it is possible to modulate the frequencies by using the initial data.

More precisely, it is proved that in modified Sobolev space (see ( Equation 2 (2) hp(Td):={u(x)=∑j∈Zdqjeij⋅x⏐‖u‖hp(Td)2=‖q‖hp2:=∑j∈Zd⌊j⌋2p|qj|2<∞}, (2) )) if the norm of initial datum is smaller than ε(0<ε≪1) , then the corresponding solution is bounded by 2ε over time-intervals of length ee1ε . The result generalizes the 1-dimensional case in L. Biasco, J.E. Massetti, M. Procesi. [An abstract Birkhoff normal form theorem and exponential type stability of the 1d NLS. Abstract:In this paper, we consider the stability for line solitary waves of the two dimensional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation on $\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{T}_L$ which is one of a high dimensional generalization of Korteweg-de Vries equation , where $\mathbb{T}_L$ is the torus with the period $2\pi L$. The orbital and asymptotic stability of the one soliton of Korteweg-de Vries equation on the energy space has been proved by Benjamin, Pego and Weinstein and Martel and Merle. We regard the one soliton of Korteweg-de Vries equation as a line solitary wave of Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation on $\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{T}_L$. We prove the stability and the transverse instability of the line solitary waves of Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation by applying Evans' function method and the argument of Rousset and Tzvetkov. Moreover, we prove the asymptotic stability for the orbitally stable line solitary wave of Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation by using the argument of Martel and Merle, a Liouville type theorem and a corrected virial type estimate.

Abstract:In this paper, we study fractional nonlinear Schrodinger equation (FNLS) with periodic boundary condition iu(t) = -(-Delta)(s0)u - V * u - epsilon f(x)vertical bar u vertical bar(4)u, x is an element of T, t is an element of R, s(0) is an element of (1/2, 1), (0.1) where (-Delta)(s0) is the Riesz fractional differentiation defined in [21] and V* is the Fourier multiplier defined by (V * u) over cap (n) = V-n(u) over cap (n), V-n is an element of [-1, 1], and f(x) is Gevrey smooth. We prove that for 0 <= vertical bar epsilon vertical bar << 1 and appropriate V, the equation (0.1) admits a full dimensional KAM torus in the Gevrey space satisfying 1/2e(-rn theta) <= vertical bar q(n)vertical bar <= 2e(-rn theta), theta is an element of (0, 1), which generalizes the results given by [8-10] to fractional nonlinear Schrodinger equation.

Abstract:We establish an abstract infinite dimensional KAM theorem dealing with unbounded perturbation vector-field, which could be applied to a large class of Hamiltonian PDEs containing the derivative ∂ x in the perturbation. Especially, in this range of application lie a class of derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations with Dirichlet boundary conditions and perturbed Benjamin-Ono equation with periodic boundary conditions, so KAM tori and thus quasi-periodic solutions are obtained for them.
