Abstract:In the first part of this paper, we investigate the sharp threshold of blow-up and global existence for the focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation with combined nonlinearities of mass-critical and mass-subcritical power-type. Especially, we find a sequence of initial data with mass approximating that of the ground state from above, the correspondng solution of which blows up. This result partially gives a positive answer to the open problem left by T.Tao, M. Visan and X. Zhang in \cite{TVZ}. After then, we obtain the lower blow-up rate and concentration rate for the blow-up solutions in the same case. Finally, we consider the mass-critical combined with the mass-supercritical power type case, studying the blow-up criteria, blow-up rate and concentration of the blow-up solutions in this case.

Abstract:We study blow-up, global existence and ground state solutions for the N-coupled focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equations. Firstly, using the Nehari manifold approach and some variational techniques, the existence of ground state solutions to the equations (CNLS) is established. Secondly, under certain conditions, finite time blow-up phenomena of the solutions is derived. Finally, by introducing a refined version of compactness lemma, the L 2 concentration for the blow-up solutions is obtained.

Abstract:We prove a concentration result for blow-up solutions of the coupled Schrödinger equations with non-spherically symmetric initial data in H1(R2). Using the profile decomposition technique and assuming a conjecture of Sirakov is valid, which was proved by Wei and Yao and Ikoma for some cases, we could remove the radial restriction on the initial data and improve the concentration rate from Lü and Liu (2011) [9].

Abstract:This article deals with the blow-up properties of the solution to a doubly degenerate parabolic system with nonlocal sources and inner absorptions, subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. We first establish the local existence and uniqueness of its classical solutions. Then we show that the critical exponent is determined by the interaction among all the six nonlinear exponents from all three kinds of the nonlinearities. Finally, we give the precise blow-up estimates and the uniform blow-up profiles.

Abstract:This paper deals with the blow-up behavior of radial solutions to a parabolic system multi-coupled via inner sources and boundary flux. We first obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of non-simultaneous blow-up, and then find five regions of exponent parameters where both non-simultaneous and simultaneous blow-up may happen. In particular, nine simultaneous blow-up rates are established for different regions of parameters. It is interesting to observe that different initial data may lead to different simultaneous blow-up rates even with the same exponent parameters.

Abstract:We analyze the blowup behaviour of solutions to the focusing nonlinear Klein--Gordon equation in spatial dimensions $d\geq 2$. We obtain upper bounds on the blowup rate, both globally in space and in light cones. The results are sharp in the conformal and sub-conformal cases. The argument relies on Lyapunov functionals derived from the dilation identity. We also prove that the critical Sobolev norm diverges near the blowup time.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the blow-up solutions of the focusing fourth-order mass-critical nonlinear Schrodinger equation. Establishing the profile decomposition of the bounded sequences in H-2, we obtain the variational characteristics of the corresponding ground state and a compactness lemma. Moreover, we obtain the L-2-concentration of the blow-up solutions and the limiting profile of the minimal mass blow-up solutions in the general case.

Abstract:This article studies the Schrödinger equation with an inhomogeneous combined term i∂tu−(−Δ)su+λ1|x|−b|u|pu+λ2|u|qu=0, where s∈(12,1),λ1,λ2=±1,0<b 0. We study the limit behaviour of the infinite blow-up solution at the blow-up time. When the parameters p,q,λ1 and λ2 have different values, we obtain the nonexistence of a strong limit for the non-radial solution and the L2 concentration for the radial solution. Interestingly, we find that the mass of the finite time blow-up solutions are concentrated in different ways for different parameters.</b

On the multi-bubble blow-up solutions to rough nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations

Abstract: We are concerned with the multi-bubble blow-up solutions to rough nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations in the focusing mass-critical case. In both dimensions one and two, we construct the finite time multi-bubble solutions, which concentrate at $K$ distinct points, $1\leq K<\infty$, and behave asymptotically like a sum of pseudo-conformal blow-up solutions in the pseudo-conformal space $\Sigma$ near the blow-up time. The upper bound of the asymptotic behavior is closely related to the flatness of noise at blow-up points. Moreover, we prove the conditional uniqueness of multi-bubble solutions in the case where the asymptotic behavior in the energy space $H^1$ is of the order $(T-t)^{3+\zeta}$, $\zeta>0$. These results are also obtained for nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations with lower order perturbations, particularly, in the absence of the classical pseudo-conformal symmetry and the conversation law of energy. The existence results are applicable to the canonical deterministic nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation and complement the previous work [43]. The conditional uniqueness results are new in both the stochastic and deterministic case.

Abstract:We consider solutions $u$ to the 3d nonlinear Schrödinger equation $i\partial_t u + \Delta u + |u|^2u=0$. In particular, we are interested in finding criteria on the initial data $u_0$ that predict the asymptotic behavior of $u(t)$, e.g., whether $u(t)$ blows-up in finite time, exists globally in time but behaves like a linear solution for large times (scatters), or exists globally in time but does not scatter. This question has been resolved (at least for $H^1$ data) if $M[u]E[u]\leq M[Q]E[Q]$, where $M[u]$ and $E[u]$ denote the mass and energy of $u$, and $Q$ denotes the ground state solution to $-Q+\Delta Q +|Q|^2Q=0$. Here, we prove a new sufficient condition for blow-up using an interpolation type inequality and the virial identity that is applicable to certain initial data satisfying $M[u]E[u]>M[Q]E[Q]$. Our condition is similar to one obtained by Lushnikov (1995) but our method allows for an adaptation to radial, infinite-variance initial data that can be stated conceptually: for real initial data, if a certain fraction of the mass is contained in the unit ball, then blow-up occurs. We also show analytically (if one takes the numerically computed value of $\|Q\|_{\dot H^{1/2}}$) that there exist Gaussian initial data $u_0$ with negative quadratic phase such that $\|u_0\|_{\dot H^{1/2}} < \|Q\|_{\dot H^{1/2}}$ but the solution $u(t)$ blows-up. We conclude with several numerically computed examples.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the blow-up solutions of nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) with oscillating nonlinearities. The limiting profiles of the blow-up solutions u ( t , x ) with initial data u_0_L^2=Q_L^2 are obtained. It reads that |u(t,x)|^2→Q_L^2^2δ_x=y_1 (Dirac function), as t → T , and that u ( t , x ) converges strongly to Q ( x ) in the energy space Σ={u∈ H^1; ∫ |x|^2|u|^2dx<∞} up to scaling and phase parameters and also translation in the nonradial case.

Abstract:The blowup is studied for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation iu(t) + Delta u + vertical bar u vertical bar(p) 1(u) = 0 with p is odd and p >= 1 + 4/N-2 (the energy-critical or energy-supercritical case). It is shown that the solution with negative energy E (u(0)) < 0 blows up in finite or in finite time. A new proof is also presented for the previous result in [9], in which a similar result in a case of energy-subcritical was shown.

Abstract:This work was concerned with the weakly coupled system of semi-linear wave equations with time dependent speeds of propagation, damping terms, and derivative nonlinear terms in generalized Einstein-de Sitter space-time on $ \mathbb{R}^n $. Under certain assumptions about the indexes $ k_1, \, k_2 $, coefficients $ \mu_1, \, \mu_2 $, and nonlinearity exponents $ p, \, q $, applying the iteration technique, finite time blow-up of local solutions to the small initial value problem of the coupled system was investigated. Blow-up region and upper bound lifespan estimate of solutions to the problem were established. Compared with blow-up results in the previous literature, the new ingredient relied on that the blow-up region of solutions obtained in this work varies due to the influence of coefficients $ k_1, \, k_2 $.
