Abstract:We establish an explicit isomorphism between two realizations of the quantum affine algebra U(q)(gI(n)) given previously by Drinfeld and Reshetikhin-Semenov-Tian-Shansky. Our result can be considered as an affine version of the isomorphism between the Drinfield/Jimbo and the Faddeev-Reshetikhin-Takhtajan constructions of the quantum algebra U(q)(gI(n)).

Abstract:In this paper, we extend the generalization of Drinfeld realization of quantum affine algebras to quantum affine superalgebras with its Drinfeld comultiplication and its Hopf algebra structure, which depends on a function g(z) satisfying the relation: g(z) = g(z(-1))(-1). Abstract:We build representations of the affine and double affine braid groups and Hecke algebras of type $C^\vee C_n$, based upon the theory of quantum symmetric pairs $(U,B)$. In the case $U=U_q(gl_N)$, our constructions provide a quantization of the representations constructed by Etingof, Freund and Ma in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="0801.1530" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/0801.1530">arXiv:0801.1530</a>, and also a type $BC$ generalization of the results in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="0805.2766" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/0805.2766">arXiv:0805.2766</a>.

Abstract:We construct polynomials ${\mathbb{S}}_{\mu}(z)$ parameterized by Young diagrams $\mu$, whose coefficients are central elements of the quantized enveloping algebra ${\rm U}_q({\mathfrak{gl}}_n)$. Their constant terms coincide with the central elements provided by the general construction of Drinfeld and Reshetikhin. For another special value of $z$, we get $q$-analogues of Okounkov's quantum immanants for ${\mathfrak{gl}}_n$. We show that the Harish-Chandra image of ${\mathbb{S}}_{\mu}(z)$ is a factorial Schur polynomial. We also prove quantum analogues of the higher Capelli identities and derive Newton-type identities.

Abstract:In this paper, the irreducible representations of the coordinate ring Oq(spC2n) of quantum symplectic space are classified. Especially, the De Concini–Kac–Procesi conjecture is proved to be true for this algebra. The main steps are the computation of the center and the degree of the algebra Oq(spC2n) by using the associated quasipolynomial algebra Oq(spC2n), find some “good” points in the underlying symplectic leaves and construct some quasipolynomial algebras correspond to these “good” points.

Abstract:A way to construct the natural representation of the quantized affine algebra Uv(sl̂l) is via the deformed Fock space by Misra and Miwa. This relates the classes of Weyl modules for Uq(slN) were q is a root of unity to the action of Uv(sl̂l) as N tends toward infinity. In this paper we investigate the situation outside of type A . In classical types, we construct embeddings of the Grothendieck group of finite dimensional Uq(g) -modules into Fock spaces of different charges and define an action of an affine quantum symmetric pair that plays the role of the quantized affine algebra. We describe how the action is related to the linkage principal for quantum groups at a root of unity and tensor product multiplicities.

Qubit construction in 6D SCFTs

Abstract:We consider a class of 6D superconformal field theories (SCFTs) which have a large N limit and a semi-classical gravity dual description. Using the quiver-like structure of 6D SCFTs we study a subsector of operators protected from large operator mixing. These operators are characterized by degrees of freedom in a one-dimensional spin chain, and the associated states are generically highly entangled. This provides a concrete realization of qubit-like states in a strongly coupled quantum field theory. Renormalization group flows triggered by deformations of 6D UV fixed points translate to specific deformations of these one-dimensional spin chains. We also present a conjectural spin chain Hamiltonian which tracks the evolution of these states as a function of renormalization group flow, and study qubit manipulation in this setting. Similar considerations hold for theories without AdS duals, such as 6D little string theories and 4D SCFTs obtained from compactification of the partial tensor branch theory on a <math>T2</math>.

Abstract:Extending the method proposed in [<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1109.5524" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1109.5524">arXiv:1109.5524</a>], we derive QQ-relations (functional relations among Baxter Q-functions) and T-functions (eigenvalues of transfer matrices) for fusion vertex models associated with the twisted quantum affine superalgebras $U_{q}(gl(2r+1|2s)^{(2)})$, $U_{q}(gl(2r|2s+1)^{(2)})$, $U_{q}(gl(2r|2s)^{(2)})$, $U_{q}(osp(2r|2s)^{(2)})$ and the untwisted quantum affine orthosymplectic superalgebras $U_{q}(osp(2r+1|2s)^{(1)})$ and $U_{q}(osp(2r|2s)^{(1)})$ (and their Yangian counterparts, $Y(osp(2r+1|2s))$ and $Y(osp(2r|2s))$) as reductions (a kind of folding) of those associated with $U_{q}(gl(M|N)^{(1)})$. In particular, we reproduce previously proposed generating functions (difference operators) of the T-functions for the symmetric or anti-symmetric representations, and tableau sum expressions for more general representations for orthosymplectic superalgebras [<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="0911.5393" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/0911.5393">arXiv:0911.5393</a>,<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="0911.5390" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/0911.5390">arXiv:0911.5390</a>], and obtain Wronskian-type expressions (analogues of Weyl-type character formulas) for them. T-functions for spinorial representations are related to reductions of those for asymptotic limits of typical representations of $U_{q}(gl(M|N)^{(1)})$.

Abstract:Let g be a finite dimensional complex simple Lie algebra, and let U=Uq(g) be its quantized enveloping algebra with a triangular decomposition U=U−U0U+. We classify all U-module structures on U0 with the regular action of U0 on itself, which are shown to have direct connections with the q-Weyl algebra and the bounded weight representations. We obtain that the necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of such modules is that U has to be of type An(n≥1), Bn(n≥2) or Cn(n≥3). Moreover, we study their module structures and associated weight modules for each type.

Abstract:We develop a $\mathtt{q}$-analogue of the theory of conjugation equivariant $\mathcal D$-modules on a complex reductive group $G$. In particular, we define quantum Hotta-Kashiwara modules and compute their endomorphism algebras. We use the Schur-Weyl functor of the second author, and develop tools from the corresponding double affine Hecke algebra to study this category in the cases $G=GL_N$ and $SL_N$. Our results also have an interpretation in skein theory (explored further in a sequel paper), namely a computation of the $GL_N$ and $SL_N$-skein algebra of the 2-torus.
