Abstract:The Oriental leafhopper genus Alishania Vilbaste, is reviewed and includes A. formosana, A. fodingensis, A. attenuata and a new species, A. quadrilamina sp. nov., found during a survey of leafhoppers in Xizang and described here. A key to males of Alishania species, together with descriptions, a checklist and figures are provided. Based on the structure of the aedeagus, Alishania is here transferred from subtribe Opsiina to subtribe Circuliferina of tribe Opsiini.

Abstract:The Oriental leafhopper genus Alishania (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae) was established by Vilbaste (1969) for a single species, Thamnotettix formosanus Matsumura, 1914, from Taiwan. So far, this genus included only the type species. Here we describe and illustrate a new species from Guizhou Province, China. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC).

Abstract:A new monobasic genus and species of the tribe Agalliini (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Megophthalminae) from Guizhou province of China is described and illustrated. Spinoagallia gen. nov. accommodates S. freytagi sp. nov.. The new species can be distinguished mainly by the unique characters of the male genitalia, combining the macrosetae on the outward and spine-like process curved ventrally on the inward pygofer caudodorsal lobe. A key for identification to new genus based on modifying primal key by Viraktamath (2011) is given. A map showing the geographic distribution of the new species is also provided.

Abstract:Three new species of the genus Anatkina Young, 1986 from China are described and illustrated: A. leishanensis sp. nov., A. alata sp. nov. and A. zhangi sp. nov. This new species is similar to Scaphoidella unihamata （ Li et Kuoh） , but it can be distinguished from small body, brown transversely-striped, face nearly-triangled valve, and different aedeagal shaft and style. Abstract:A new species of the genus Cicadatra Kolenati, 1857, C. hei sp. nov., from Sichuan Province, China is described. A key to the species of Cicadatra from China is provided. Morphological characters for 9 taxa of the tribe Cicadatrini and for 3 outgroup taxa are examined to present the first phylogenetic reconstruction within the Cicadatrini. The monophyly of Cicadatrini is supported, and Cicadatrini is more allied to the outgroup Cicadetta of the subfamily Cicadettinae (= Tibicininae auct.) from TNT and WinClada analyses. The systematic status of the tribe Cicadatrini is discussed. The genus Cicadalna Boulard, 2006 is recognized to be a junior synonym of Emathia Stål, 1866, and Cicadalna takensis Boulard, 2006 is transferred from Cicadalna to Emathia to become Emathia takensis (Boulard, 2006) comb. nov.

Abstract:Four new species of Agnesiella Dworakowska are described and illustrated, Agnesiella (Draberiella) digita sp. nov., A. (D.) furca sp. nov., A. (D.) innota sp. nov., A. (D.) sinuata sp. nov.. Four previously described species are recorded from China for the first time, A. (D.) aldera Thapa, 1984, A. (D.) ela Dworakowska, 1977, A. (D.) rita Dworakowska, 1982, A. (D.) roxana Dworakowska, 1982. The females of species A. (D.) aldera, A. (D.) ela and A. (D.) roxana are described for the first time. The couple was collected when they were mating. Based on dissection and observation, the phenomenon was found that male and female had different color patches on habitus (Figs 1-6, 10-15, 28-33, 34-39). A checklist and newly key to known species of Agnesiella are provided for species identification from China.

Abstract:The present paper treats 20 species of the typhlocybine genus Alebroides Matsumura from China, among which two species new to science are described: A. parafuscus n. sp. and A. muzitaneus n. sp.; three new synonymies are reported: A. aurantinus Cai & Shen, 1999 is a junior synonym of A. rubicundus Ishihara, 1953; A. taibaiensis Chou & Zhang, 1987 is a junior synonym of A. yanglinginus Chou & Zhang, 1987 and A. qinlinganus Chou & Zhang, 1987 is a junior synonym of A. falcatus Sohi & Dworakowska, 1979; five species are new records for China. A key to all Chinese Alebroides species is provided, including 6 species reported occuring in China with specimens unavailable for this study except A. shokanus Matsumura.
