Abstract:The genus Cyrtoptyx Delucchi (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) are reported from China for the first time. One new species, Cyrtoptyx flavida sp. nov. and two newly recorded species are described in this paper and a key is given to separate these three species in China. Cyrtoptyx latipes Rondanbi can be used in the biological control of Bactrocera oleae (Diptera:Tephritidae) (some species are quarantine insects). The type specimens are deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
