Abstract:With the rapid development of the urban ageing population, this article analyses the necessity and difficulty in the aged housing developing by contrasting the demand and the supply in the urban aged housing market from three main aspects including the consumer, the developer and the government. Thus it puts forward some suggestions and strategies about how to develop the urban aged housing. The aim of this dissertation is to provide some new advancing ideas in the real estate market which is increasingly competitive intensively in China, in order that the current situation of the dwelling market with the enormous useless and unaffordable supply of the housing could be reduced. A conclusion in this thesis indicates that such social groups as the older persons should be paid special attentions by all the society while the quality of their housing and the surrounding would be enhanced simultaneously, and it also stresses that only by providing the perfect housing and living environment for the elder, could we ultimately achieved a harmonious society in which everyone can achieve equality.
