Abstract:The invention provides a determination method and device of brittleness index. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring multiple groups of experimental data of a to-be-determined rock sample, wherein each group of experimental data comprises a stress parameter on the to-be-determined rock sample and a strain parameter produced by the to-be-determined rock sample under the stress parameter; according to multiple groups of experimental data, determining the first brittleness relevant parameter, a second brittleness relevant parameter, and a third brittleness relevant parameter, wherein the first brittleness relevant parameter represents the degree for desorbing external force acting by elastic strain energy of the to-be-determined rock sample at the pre-peak stage, the second brittleness relevant parameter represents the energy dissipation degree of the to-be-determined rock sample in the fracture process, and the third brittleness relevant parameter represents the dissipationdegree of the elastic strain energy of the to-be-determined rock sample at the after-peak stage; and determining the brittleness index of the to-be-determined rock sample according to the first brittleness relevant parameter, the second brittleness relevant parameter and the third brittleness relevant parameter.
