The Methodology of Writing the Theoretical History of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

Abstract:The founding of the theoretical system of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is the greatest theoretical achievement in the development of Marxism since the founding of new China 70 years ago. Just like the history of China's socialist revolution and construction over the past 70 years, the history of the theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is worthy of special attention. According to the experience of writing the history of the development of Marxism, this paper proposes the methodology of writing the history of the theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. The four methodological principles put forward in this paper are:grasping the " condition totality" of the formation and development of the theory, realizing the reasonable transformation of the theoretical existence form, attaching importance to the significance of the theoretical development of the "theoretical event", and comprehensive understanding of theoretical innovation subject.
