Reanalysis of the Social Sciences Productivity in Jiangsu

Abstract:According to the analytical statistics on social sciences research in Jiangsu based on Chinese Social Sciences Citation Database,the ranking of Jiangsu's social sciences research ceased its falling from 2001.In 2001 to 2003,Jiangsu reached the third place in China on the whole.21 disciplines in Jiangsu ranked among the first five in which 12 ranked among the first three,presenting its increasing trend compared with the years from 1998 to 2000.But still there were some disciplines,such as philosophy,sociology,history and human economic geography,ranked lower than before.
