Narration and Experience:Fiction Ontology

Abstract:It is of great significance to discuss about the fiction ontology, which relates closely to the art values of the fiction and a good understanding of the relationship between the creation and reading of the fiction.To promote the development of the fic-tion art, it is strongly recommended to get hold of the path in which the contemporary novelists are telling their stories on the ba-sis of the relationship between narration and experience.From the perspective of the post-metaphysics, ontology tends to be con-structed on the epistemology, featured with empathy-centered experience.According to the creative experience of great novel-ists, there are three representative ontologies: vision theory, thought theory and language theory.On the discussion about the different paths they adopt, the value ontology of“what is a good fiction” is to be obtained.In a word, all good fictions share one definite characteristic:artistic tension produced by the integration of complexity and simplicity.
