Construction of TD-LTE 4G mobile communication network experimental teaching system based on existing network devices

Abstract:The building of an experimental teaching system of the fourth generation mobile communication network(TD‐LTE) based on existing network devices ,is significant to the training of mobile communication engineering and technical talents .The hardware platform of the system is built on network device eNodeB from ZTE company ,core network iEPC ,TenGigabits router ,laboratory management system and student operation terminal;the global resource parameter ,the transmission resource parameter ,the adjacent network element parameter and the residential parameter of the system are planed and designed ;the experiments combination to train students ’ engineering ability is determined; and the try‐out experiment is accomplished . The experimental result shows that the hardware platform of the system is reliable;the designed network parameters are reasonable;the system is capable of training students how to install ,power on and maintain in production LTE 4G network devices ,which can ensure the practicability of the system .
