Abstract:Talents cultivation is the major task and basic function of higher education.The cultivation of high-quality specialized innovative talents is closely related to experimental teaching and laboratory construction.A laboratory with advanced teaching philosophy,abundant experiment facilities and equipments,excellent experimental technical teams,and continuously accumulated experimental research results are the foundation and preconditions for talent cultivation.Based on the analysis of the basic construction and laboratory conditions of Tsinghua University,the experiences in laboratory teaching and optimization of laboratory resources are summarized.It is concluded that only through system guarantee and appropriate incentive measures,transformation,opening and sharing in appropriate channels and approaches,can the abundant experimental resources of higher education play a more important role in cultivation of innovation spirit,enhancement of practical problem solving ability,faster progress of students' practical skill learning,and overall improvement of talent quality.
