Research and Practice on Engineering Practical Education Reform in University

Abstract:Focus on the problems that aroused wide attention from society ,such as severely short-age of time for practice teaching in universities ,weakness of practical ability for engineering graduates , lacking of engineering mentality for non-engineering students ,lack of practical support throughout the innovation consciousness,as well as the phenomenon that the engineering personnel are trained with a science way,which having been long puzzled engineering education. By means of innovation thinking and multiple way collection of practice resources ,a new teaching system with Chinese university char-acteristic for general practice and innovation courses have been founded. A series of near-practical courses that can link up the interfaces between theory ,practice and innovation have been created. A teaching team,with complementary knowledge structure and harmonious development in theory,experi-ment and practice,has been constructed. The results have been carried out through the connection with international engineering education,combination with the adjustment of new education project in Shan-dong University and the comprehensive major reform from the Ministry of Education. This effectively changed some phenomena that have been puzzled engineering education for a long time.
