Abstract:Objective To investigate the misuse or improperly use situation of statistical methods on medical postgraduates' dissertations.Methods Cross-sectional study was used for the 192 dissertations of Zhejiang University which submitted in last 5 years,dissertation was selected by multistage stratified random sampling.Results Misuse or improperly use rate of the 192 dissertations in research design,statistical description,statistical inference,result expression/interpretation and the overall were 76.6％,70.3％,8.9％,50.0％ and 94.8％;chi-square test for the misuse or improperly use rate showed that submit time (x2 =19.86,P =0.001) was significant in research design,college (x2 =5.67,P =0.017)、supervisor title (x2 =7.59,P =0.006) and submit time (x2 =14.14,P =0.015) were significant in statistical description,college (x2 =8.75,P =0.003) was significant in result expression/interpretation,college,supervisor title,submit time and degree were not significant in statistical inference and the overall.Conclusions Misuse or improperly use rate is quite high in medical postgraduates' dissertations,education of medical statistics should be paid more attention to strengthen the statistical knowledge and skills of postgraduate.

Abstract:Methods of mathematical statistics were applied to evaluate the effects of categorical data,such as freshmen's mental health,on average grades of some terms and average grades of some courses,thereby providing information on the psychological mechanism of early warning and assistance to all concerned.The analyzed data was collected from the University Personality Inventory results and the examination results of students enrolled in 2002 into a certain key science and engineering university.The results show that students who have suicidal tendency,or regard their past and family life as unfortunate,score obviously lower than other students;and that those who had the experienced syncopy or spasm before entering college also performed poorly.Concentration is an important guarantee of achieving good grade in college.

Abstract:Recently, the rise in student numbers has led to the establishment of many new colleges and universities in China. As a result, there has been a significant increase in data collection on students' athletic skills. To manage these data, educational institutions are implementing information management systems. However, tracking sports results remain challenging since sports information may not always be collected during sports teaching. This work presents a systematic strategy to address this problem by evaluating student athletes' abilities using an Apriori algorithm, decision tree (DT), and association rule. It covers the processes for collecting data, preprocessing, selecting features, and evaluating models. The efficiency of the DT algorithm in solving classification problems, including student achievement analysis, is emphasized. The association rule algorithm is applied to figure out the correlation between students' physical fitness and their involvement in physical education. The Apriori algorithm is introduced to reduce the amount of data needed in merging item sets. Lastly, the overall architecture of the college students' physical fitness analysis system is presented. It covers the insertion of sports test scores, the calculation of total scores, and the application of DT analysis for evaluating student achievements. The process involves standardizing database information, selecting a training instance set, and determining attributes based on information gain. The efficiency of the system is evaluated in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. In comparison with previous works, our recommended system can track and analyze students' athletic capability, fitness, and physical ability to create personalized workout routines and monitor their health in real-time.

Abstract:This paper studies the comprehensive quality evaluation system of college students, and puts forward a design idea based on the comprehensive quality evaluation data warehouse system of college students. Through questionnaire surveys, enterprise surveys, and investigations on students, the comprehensive quality of college students is evaluated. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to calculate the index weight, which can reflect the importance of scientific and reasonable indexes in comprehensive quality evaluation. Based on the evaluation of students' comprehensive qualities, data mining technology is introduced. This paper describes the system design of the data mining model for the evaluation of university students' comprehensive qualities and the realization process of the data mining system. It mainly uses frequent itemset mining methods, namely association rules and Apriori algorithm to generate association rules and frequent itemsets that affect the relationship between the factors of comprehensive quality. Based on the generated rule set, the relationship between the comprehensive quality assessment of college students and the employment situation of students is predicted, analyzed and mastered. Mastering this relationship is conducive to further training useful talents to meet the needs of the society, and it is beneficial for the employer to conduct targeted selection of talents

Abstract:Objective To find out the attitudes and behaviors of public health graduate students solving statistical problems in research projects.MethodsCross-sectional study.ResultsMost of statistical issues in research work can be solved with current health statistical courses for postgraduates in universities; software they chose for research program were mostly introduced in courses; graduate students with different characteristics varied wildly in dealing with health statistical problems.Conclusions Course reforms needs to be strengthened and individualized plans should be developed according different aptitudes in order to cultivate competent professionals with the needs of modern public health.

Abstract:This thesis aims to take usage of the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis,establish an objective and scientific evaluation criteria system for network database,then make a systemic evaluation for network database.To establish a scientific and integrative criteria system for evaluating network database,two methods,Delphi and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process),are used to conduct expert survey,summarize and compute the data.The innovations of the thesis include:(1) Using Delphi survey method on the web to establish the evaluation criteria system on network database,which guarantees the system scientificity and rationality;and is also convenient for the following statistical calculation.(2)The combination of online Delphi and updated AHP is used in theresearch.(3)With exponential scale,not traditional scale,we calculated the judgement matrix totally by the full mark frequency,and got a good result in consistency verification.

Abstract:With the deepening of the University Electronic platform, various business systems achieve close sharing of data, but data sharing is generally limited in basic business data. We lack the understanding of shared statistical data. The sharing process of statistical data is limited to verbal or one-time providing and lack the supporting of effective information technology, which is not conducive to an authorized history dating back. In order to solve the above problems, the author proposed and designed a statistical data sharing scheme for college management, which unify the approval of statistical data applying, archive working mechanism of the application and authorization of statistical data and facilitate data authorization, history traced, management and sharing of statistical data.
Research on sub healthy evaluation index selection of college students based on Delphi Methodology

Abstract:In this paper we studied the health status of college students from the physiological and psychological aspects, and determined the evaluation indexes of sub healthy status in college students. Firstly, by using the literature analysis method, referring to the internationally recognized five health scales (EQ-5D, CSHS, SF-36, WHOQOL-100 and sub healthy status questionnaire), the relevant factors of College Students' physical and mental sub healthy were found out, and an items pool of candidate indicators of College Students' sub healthy was established. Then, using Delphi method, experts were invited to compare and judge the indicators of items pool and screen them to select reasonable and effective sub healthy evaluation indexes items. As a result, according to the indexes screening criteria, after two rounds of expert consultation, 7 first-class indicators and 54 second-class indicators were determined. Among them, 7 first-class indicators were physiological function, energy, exercise ability, physical symptoms, psychological cognition, emotion and psychological symptoms. The selected indicators can better respond to the actual needs of college students and meet the needs of constructing the sub healthy evaluation indexes scale for college students, so as to comprehensively evaluate the health status of college students and carry out accurate health management and service.

Abstract:Abstract Teaching quality is the fundamental guarantee for colleges and universities(CAU) to achieve their educational goals, and is the basis for training talents. In recent years, an important research field of big data is the research of Data mining(DM). The use of DM algorithms can find out the key factors affecting teaching quality, provide a strong basis for teaching arrangements and teaching management in universities, and then improve the teaching level of universities. The purpose of this article is to study the evaluation system of college English teaching(ET) based on big data. Based on the idea of DM, this paper designs and implements a college ET quality evaluation system(ETQES), and applies the system to the college ET quality monitoring system, and obtains a large amount of evaluation data. This paper extracts relevant data from the school’s ETQES, teacher management system, comprehensive educational administration and other system databases, and builds a data warehouse through data preprocessing. This paper implements the DM module of the ETQES to mine the data in the data warehouse. Through the analysis of these rules, the factors affecting the evaluation results of ET quality are obtained. This paper establishes a database suitable for mining association rules. Through the analysis of association rules, find out which key factors can affect the quality of ET, so as to provide a strong basis for ET decision-making and management. According to the experimental results, it can be concluded that the 4555-year-old teacher gets a higher student evaluation score, indicating that teachers of this age group are more popular with students.

Abstract:Using quantitative method and model, from three aspects such as the degree conferring unit, discipline and the Dissertation instructor, this paper conducts the statistics and analysis of the selection results of the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertations, and draws the following conclusions:( 1) Excellent Doctors have formed a core group of 985 Project colleges and universities and China Academy of Sciences;( 2) Science and engineering accounted for 67. 79% of the total outstanding doctoral dissertations, showing the problem of uneven development of the discipline and the unreasonable structure;( 3) instructors and the number of Excellent Doctoral Dissertations obey Lotka distribution: f( yx) = 0. 759 / x3. 302, and the instructors of awarded Excellent Doctoral Dissertations highly correlates to Appraisal Group, Pearson correlation coefficient is 0. 974, appearing the problems of selection mechanism to some extent.

Abstract:Based on the data of 2008 Survey of the Development of Beijing College Students, this paper uses path analysis to investigate the self-evaluation capability of undergraduates from general undergraduate universities and college students from vocational and technical colleges. The study finds that the vocational college students have significantly higher scores in vocational skills and psychological quality, while undergraduates score higher in civil quality. In addition, active learning participation, passive learning participation, active social and community participation all have significant impact on capacity development.

Abstract:This paper aims at building up an evaluation criteria system for academic websites by qualitative and quantitative methods.According to the features of academic websites,it tries to establish a set of scientific and rational evaluation criteria system for academic websites by Delphi Method on the web,and by calculating the weights of these evaluation criteria with Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) based on exponential scale.It also selects several academic websites as the subjects,using the same method to do an empirical analysis based on this criteria system.Lastly,combining the research results with the development trends of academic websites,it provides some advice for the architecture of academic websites.
