Explicit Exact Solutions to KdV Equation

Abstract:In this paper by using a traveling wave method, a homogeneous balance method and a Jacobi elliptic function expansion method , we obtain not only the exact periodic solutions and the solitary wave solutions for a KdV equation , but also several new exact solutions. The results show that the three methods in this paper afford us useful avenues that study nonlinear differential equations.
