Abstract:This article introduces a new concept of upper and lower solutions and studies the existence and uniqueness of solutions of second-order three-point boundary value problems with upper and lower solutions in the reversed order. The sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions are obtained by using the monotone iterative method, meantime, the iterative sequence for solving a solution and its error estimate formula under the condition of unique solution are given. Some results of previous literature are extended and improved. A numerical example is also included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Abstract:In this paper, the fixed point theory combined with a monotone iterative technique is used to investigate the unique positive solution of a boundary problem for nth-order nonlinear impulsive singular integro-differential equations of mixed type on an infinite interval in a Banach space. The conditions for the existence of a unique positive solution are established. In addition, an explicit iterative sequence for approximating the solution of the boundary value problem is derived together with an error estimate. Abstract:In this paper, we investigate nonlinear second-order double impulsive differential equations integral boundary value problem with p-Laplacian on an infinite interval with the infinite number of impulsive times. Based on the cone theory and monotone iterative technique, we establish the existence of minimal nonnegative solution and iteration of positive solutions for such a boundary value problem. The main results are new and extend the existing results. At last, some examples are worked out to demonstrate the use of the main results.
