Bibliometrics Analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Tumor

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the literature about traditional Chinese medicine treatment of tumor published in China and the development tendency.Methods:The papers relevant to traditional Chinese medicine treatment of tumor published in journals were included in CNKI database.The 1651 articles published from 1958 to October 19,2015 were statistically analyzed from the aspects of publishing year,research institutions,research funds and document source with bibliometrics method.Results:In addition to the individual years,the number of literature in general is on the rise,with rapid growth since 2009.Papers covers many disciplines and research direction.The core research area and the core research institutions have been formed.Beijing,Guangzhou,Nanjing and other areas of its research is in the lead.But there is limitation on the research direction.Moreover,the reference rate of paper is low,and relatively few paper get funds.Conclusion:The study of TCM therapy for cancer increasingly brought to the attention of the society,and the development is rapid.However,the research direction is focused on the theoretical research,we should strengthen the efforts in basic research and clinical research in the future.In addition,with the increased number of the literature,the quality of literature should be paid more attention to at the same time.
