Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of assessing patients with early SIRS through optimized Roy adaptation model on prognosis of patients. Methods A total of 68 patients with early SIRS in 2015 were treated as the control group, and were given observation and nursing according to holistic nursing mode;another 68 cases of SIRS patients in 2016 were assigned into the observation group, who were assessed through optimized Roy adaptation model, and nurses reported abnormal findings to their doctor, and executed treatment plans as ordered. Results In the observation group, nurses had more abnormal findings and provided more symptom-fitted treatment than in the control group;the former group had shorter ICU stay, fewer incidence rates of septic shock,MODS,and fewer mortality rate, and fewer cases advancing into SIRS3 and SIRS4,than the latter group(P<0.01 for all). Conclusion Assessment of patients with early SIRS through optimized Roy adaptation model can help nurses discover patients' abnormal conditions, and provide timely and symptom-fitted treatment, which is beneficial to patients' prognosis.
