Abstract:Surgical site infection after inguinal hernia repair is one type of infections , and treatment of infection after inguinal hernia repair with mesh is still challenging .Based on careful diagnosis , including the site of infection, the extent, nature, individual treatment should be given under specific situation .If it met the criteria , whether primary suture with biological mesh or not could obtain satisfactory outcome as well . However , the most important thing is to prevent infection .
